ABOUT ME💕✨ I’m Sonya. I got engaged at 18, married a month after I turned 19, had an LDS temple marriage and was married for 10 years. We got divorced, I’ve left the church and now I’ve truly found myself, happiness, and peace in my life. (unless it’s a rare moment where I’m trying to date 🤪) I grew a following from working with separate local brands and modeling for them or having partnerships where I would show new releases before they went on sale. I’m an advocate for loving oneself at all sizes. You can scroll back and see I still posted, honestly more frequently, when I was larger. I’ve lost around 70 pounds. Also won 4k in a transformation competition and my following grew once more. Sometimes I forget how far I’ve come with my transformation. I still have a ways to go to feel truly healthy, especially with my mind as of lately with body image and how I view food. Dear Laura, you made work a home away from home for me. I loved you so much. Life is a cruel thing that just keeps moving when all I want is for it is to stand still so I can sit and miss you for a while. I’m fondly remembering our convertible drives singing this song at the top of our lungs, ‘dog hunting’ (trying to find puppies to pet), looking up all the local ‘actually’ haunted houses and visiting them, days at the lake, long bike rides, all your boy drama and how much I related to it, how I understood you because I saw a piece of me inside of you, our giggles and deep talks. I’ll miss you dearly. My life is changed for the better because of you. I can’t believe you’re gone. (Laura was one of my clients. I work/lived with her every weekend for the past three years as her caregiver. She was 37 and seemingly perfectly healthy and passed suddenly, yet peacefully in her sleep) by @sonyamaes
