I'm not sure how many times I can say I'm getting back on track until I actually make it happen 🙈

April & May have been complete write offs with no progress whatsoever, in fact I've definitely gained a few pounds 🐷

But these last few weeks especially have reminded me of why I want to get fitter and healthier, and what I need to do to, to start making consistent habits, and that starts with taking it back to basics; which means tracking food and moving more.
I'm going back to strength training, as that is what I enjoy, and slowly working on my cardio fitness by getting the steps back in.

I've even printed of a tracker to stick to the fridge as a visual to keep me in check 🤞🏼

Not Every Workout is going to be a good workout ✨

I won't lie, this workout has left me feeling pretty deflated. It was an EMOM workout and it was HARD! I wasn't expecting it to be easy, but I found this near on impossible and 7 minutes in I wanted to turn it off and quit 😭

But I didn't... I took longer rest times, I missed a couple of rounds, and didn't complete a few moves, and for that I feel good 💪🏼

Not Every Workout is going to be a good workout, but it's definitely going to be better than doing nothing 🙌🏼

November has started well 🎆

It kicked off with the scales having dropped, so even if they stay still for the rest of the week I'll be happy (sort of 😂)

Sunday didn't see no roast dinner, but Tuscan chicken orzo which was delicious, and tonight was Bolognese gnocchi.😋 Both recipes from the @rwl app!

I didn't get a workout in tonight as I was late finishing work, so it was home, straight in the shower, cooking dinner and then bed!

Tomorrow should be a more normal time to get home, so I will get it done then.

Halloween Check in 🎃

Thankful that I started taking my measurements!

I know from my measurements this week, that I've done all the right things, and actually Im feeling really good. 6/7 days of food all on plan, 4 workouts ticked off and I got out for walks when I could 🙌🏼

The scales didn't go in my favour, but I know it's all down to my body holding onto all the salt from Thursday, as Thursday morning I was down -1.4lbs... But it's still frustrating to see 😭

We carry on to a new week, and trust the process ☺️

Friday 🥳

I had a lovely day out yesterday, with a calorific lunch at whetherspoons, followed by a cup of pic N mix sweets at the cinema, which we're definitely not needed, but very much enjoyed 🍬🍫

Today I was straight back to it, I ate well, drank a lot more water than yesterday, I got my cardio & core session done and then straight out for a walk to get those steps in 🙌🏼

Cottage Pie is one my favourite dinners and one that I have weekly, and normally on a Friday as it's just quick and easy 😋

Third workout of the week done ✅
It was tough to get going this afternoon, after I'd sat down I really couldn't be bothered to get up and do a workout, but I knew I wouldn't fit one in tomorrow so on I went 🙌🏼

I even got out for a walk afterwards just to hit my steps, which I definitely felt better for afterwards!

Dinner was creamy chicken and leek orzo from @rwl recipe bank, and it was delicious 😋

My first week complete with @rwl and it's been a successful one 🎉

I know there won't be that much difference in the CMS week on week, and it was mainly due to this being the first week of eating properly and exercising which has helped get rid of that bloating.

I can notice such a difference in how I'm feeling already just by eating better and moving more... Let's see what week 2 brings!
The pattern that has been is I've dropped this pound and next week I seem to gain it back again 🫠

What a great Friday...
Finished work early, got my cardio and core workout done & had a 45 minute hot bubble bath in the middle of the afternoon, which felt like such a luxury 🥰

I made a cottage pie for dinner, enjoyed with a glass of prosecco, and the only thing to make this Friday better would be if I didn't have to go into work tomorrow 😬

A lovely start to the working day 😍
I also had a drop on the scales this morning, but after a roast dinner this evening I'm sure that won't be the case in the morning!

I did get my workout in once if finished work this afternoon, although if I had known it was an AMRAP session I definitely wouldn't have done it 🤣

But all boxes ticked off for another day ✅

Started the week off strong 💪🏼 it also feels like it's been pretty balanced too!

I watched a bit of TV after work before getting my final workout of week 1 of phase 1 done ✅
Considering it was low intensity it still got the heart pumping!

I cooked Moroccan style meatballs orzo for dinner, which was a winner all round, and will be definitely made again 🍝

Even finished the day off with a 2 mile walk after dinner to get them steps in.

After spending 2.5 hours in the kitchen this afternoon I have:
☀️2 breakfasts made
🌯 2 lunches prepped
🍪Snacks made for the week
🥧 Tonight's dinner of quiche done ✅

All recipes are from the @rwl app, and I'm now feeling ready to start the week strong 💪🏼

A very quick dinner of Paprika Pork after a very busy, but lovely day!

Popped into Norwich this morning to do a bit of Christmas shopping with mum and my niece, before making it back to take my niece to her gymnastics class, which meant we had a treat lunch of Auntie Anne's, featuring both a savoury and a sweet pretzel 😬

Hit my steps walking around the city, and I have still tracked everything I've eaten today and somehow only managed to be 37 calories over my deficit 🎉
