“Therefore, if anyone is new in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” 2 Corinthians 5:17 NIV ♰

today i openly laid my heart out and decided to deny my flesh in complete devotion of Jesus Christ. not really growing up in the church, i wanted to make a public declaration of my faith and my commitment to our Savior. i thank @opendoorchurchnc and all of my family, friends, and mentors who came to support me today and show me love. but most importantly i thank my Heavenly Father for showing me it is not my will, but His that will be done. thank you Lord for saving me from my old ways and making me whole again in your name! it doesn’t take a miracle to come to God, it just takes pure and genuine surrender.🤎 taken in Opendoor Church by @sophia.hook
