Imperfect freestyle flow, after going to vote, the voting computers were all, but one, getting...turned off and back on? And then groceries and then back to am even longer line up. Trigger warning: cops, unnecessary force

I need to get so much grief and emotions out of me
I don't know how much I'm going to post about this but it will probably be a lot

I can't let my situation drag me down into depression so I have to let it out, and I hope it at least resonates with people, because I don't expect to change anything

I start off by saying, "a tiny bit of context" and then I go and give almost all of the context
Brevity is not my strong suit

I am feeling almost every emotion right now and the last month has been a tidal wave of feelings bottled from the last 31 years

I am a full advocate for mental health services but I wanted to share what my journey was in trying to navigate the system during a full mental health crisis

Maybe I should have lied and told the AAC nurse I was feeling suicidal
But I wasn't having those feelings, even during the peak of my mania
I was manic as fuck and paranoid to the point of being delusional

My SNRIs had been basically poisoning me for the last ten fucking years
I was at the AAC in 2017 and all the psychiatrist did was double my dose of the SNRI with absolutely no advice, that I can remember
It took me two years to get back down to 50mg, when my goal was to get completely off them
The process was brutal
Now I am so thankfully free from Desvenlafaxine and hopeful that my current mix of medication will work as intended

I know this might seem like a lot of information to post but I mainly just want to make an update for all my friends who have been worried about me during my involuntary commitment at VGH
This year I've had a lot of friendships broken and a lot of people take advantage of me but it just makes me appreciate the friends who are still here that much more
