Join us for a celebration of drawing and the 10th anniversary of The Thinking Hand bursary @konstakademin in Stockholm, Saturday October 10, 11-6PM It’s an honour to be among the 30 artists in the past 10 years to have received this bursary. I remember how encouraging it was to show my works on paper for the first time in Stockholm at Gustav lll Museum of Antiquitities in 2019. The graceful, clumsy and very familiar movements of my grandmothers Ingrid and Siv as they are getting dressed are the theme of my works in oil pastel on paper on show @konstakdemien until November 21. This series was initially created for my solo exhibition ’Yes, I used to be a great dancer’ in Reggio Emilia @_neutro in 2021. The project curated by @silvia.lomi and @untitledv_com was accompanied by a publication with a text by @isabellelyoung The Thinking Hand bursary is generously supported by the Elisabeth and Gustaf Douglas Foundation. @annaperssongallery taken in Konstakademien by @sophiewesterlind
