Well, it finally happened after years of chasing her. Caught my first Texas Share Lunker weighing in at 13.64lbs today on Richland Chambers with my buddy @andrewwaters_fishing.

Saw her on my NBT monitor and said to Andrew watch me catch this catfish (thought it was too big for a bass). She hit it like a freight train and the fight was on. Huge thanks to Andrew for netting her and the Share Lunker Program for quickly coming to get her.

@cullumbfishing and I punched our ticket to the @bassmasterhighschool National Championship in July on Lake Hartwell by finishing 2nd at the Red River @bass_nation Open event and won big bass. Found a little honey hole with 20 minutes of practice left that carried us during a tough event.

Flippin with a @jb3rods Thoroughbred paired with @thezoombaitcompany speed craw in junebug with 1/4oz @epicbaitsfishing tungsten was key.

Congrats to @jase.w.fishing and Carsen Adcock on the win.

Awesome job by @glennfishing, @chasesansomfishing, and appreciate all the sponsors did to support the event.

@masoncardenfishing and I finished 2nd out of 300 teams at the AFTCO Collegiate Open on Lake Dardanelle with 2-day total 32.02lbs. Tough fishing forced us to go old school techniques. Punched our ticket to the ACA National Championship in May on Pickwick. Huge shoutout to UWA on 4 teams in top 10.

Slipped up day 2 finishing 6th in the BFL Super Tournament on Lake Mitchell with total of 26lbs 9oz. Rainy day but Simms ProDry Jacket delivered.

We finished 28th out of 250 teams at the MLF College Open on Guntersville with 19lbs 9oz. Leaned on JB3 Thoroughbred to fish grass edges throwing a free rig. Huge shoutout to Piranh O2 system mixed with Buzzer Rocks to keep our fish healthy last two events with water temps mid-80s.

Doubled qualified for MLF National Championship. Congrats to teammates @griffinrfishing and @cole_martin_5 for 6th place.

Next up BFL on Mitchell this weekend and following week the ACA on Lake Dardanelle.

@masoncardenfishing and I finished 5th out of 233 teams at the MLF College Open on Kentucky Lake with 19lbs 4oz. Tough fishing mixed with some mechanical issues so fortunate to get the right bites. Punch our ticket to the MLF National Championship in February on Toledo. UWA qualified 7 teams so off to a hot start.

Next up Guntersville on Friday for another MLF College Open.

Freshman year is officially a wrap.

@thomasturnbullfishing and I finished 18th out of 140 teams at the Bassmaster College National Championship. Leech Lake was a humbling experience chasing smallies.

I’ll be following Coach Crawford to UWA next season along with many of my teammates. I learned a ton fishing alongside Thomas this year, and it’s hard to beat the freshman season we had together. No doubt you’ll anchor Montevallo next year. Wishing you nothing but the best, brother.

We are sitting in 15th Day 1 of @bassmastercollege National Championship with 16lbs 15oz on all smallmouth. Leech is stingy and wind is brutal. ~1lbs out of Day 3 cut so gotta catch’em again.

Thomas and I finished 19th at Bassmaster College Open on Kerr Reservoir. After dropping 18lbs 6oz and sitting in 4th place Day 1, we slipped up Day 2. Navigating Kerr wasn’t easy but fortunate to triple qualify for the Bassmaster College National Championship in August.

Key setups: JB3 Outlaw and Thoroughbred played best paired with perspective mode on the NBT Battleship.

Up next is ACA National Championship on Pickwick and then Bassmaster College Open on James River.

Thomas and I wrapped up a fun couple-week road trip.

8th in a one-day shoot-out Bassmaster College Open at Santee Cooper with 29lbs 3oz, double qualifying us for the National Championship

6th at Montevallo Open - 21.49lbs at Guntersville

79th at ACA Hartwell Slam - 2-day total of 27.88lbs

19th at SCO State Championship - 17.59lbs at Guntersville

A lot learned. A lot left to learn.

Wrapped up a two-week FL/TX road trip — the MLF College Open on Lake Seminole and the Bassmaster College Open on Sam Rayburn.

Mediocre finish at Seminole, but we earned decent points for a 56th out of 250 teams at Rayburn. The wind made things tough at both events, and losing some practice time to mechanical issues didn’t help.
