WHAT A WEEK!

@sorrellsdylan and I were blessed to get to fish the Bassmaster College National Championship! We managed to finish in 18th place! I had so much fun and can’t wait to make it again.

Dylan and I are choosing different directions for colleges, but man, we had an awesome freshman year. Dylan, I had so much fun fishing with you and learned so much from you. Lucky to call you a friend. I have no doubt @sorrellsdylan is going to be a problem for years to come, for everyone!

Thank you @montevallo_fishing_team for an awesome year! To all the homies, I had such a blast and I appreciate y’all making me a better person! Thank you @coachcrawford_outdoors for believing in me and Dylan from the start. We appreciate the opportunities you gave us!

Thank you to my family and everyone who has supported me this year. All you see on here is the good stuff, but wow, there was so much adversity too. I’m so blessed to have the support I have.

And most importantly, thank you Lord, for always watching over me and guiding me! I can’t wait for Sophomore year!

After putting together one of the most impressive freshman seasons in college fishing, our sophomore class returns with confidence, experience, and something to prove. Their talent was evident from day one, but what excites us even more is their commitment to improving every time they hit the water.

Success isn’t built in a single season, it’s earned through relentless work, constant growth, and the drive to be better than yesterday. This group has embraced that mindset, and we’re excited to watch them continue to develop into one of the premier classes in college fishing.

Year two starts now… and the best is still ahead.

James River is a wrap! Extremely grateful for the opportunity to learn a tidal system! Disappointed with a tough Day 2 dropping from 14th to 64th, but learned a ton from our mistakes and outcome.

Put the @abugarcia_fishing rods to work throwing @berkleyfishing baits. Our arsenal consisted of a Berkley MaxScent Creature Hawg on a 5/16 ounce weight, a MaxScent General on an 1/8 ounce weight, and a MaxScent Moeba, which caught a 7 1/2 pound James River stud!

This year has been so awesome, but I can’t lie, I’m so ready to go home and get recentered. During these last few months, so many moving pieces and tough decisions have come to light. Despite the weight of all of it, I know God is using it to shape and mold me to be the person He wants me to become. And it does not always look pretty!

Next up, Leech Lake for the Bassmaster Natty!

Tough showing for the guys at the last @bassmastercollege event at the James River! Despite a strong start, Day 2 and the obstacles it brought along with it got the best of them.

Special shoutout to @brooksparker682 and @nickpemberton.fishing ‼️ This was the last regular season tournament for them. Thank y’all for being leaders and making Montevallo great!

Final Results:

64th place - @thomasturnbullfishing @sorrellsdylan

75th place - @brooksparker682 @cole_edwards__fishing

86th place - @nickpemberton.fishing @jc.fishing_25
