ENERGY VAMPIRE 🧛‍♀️ 🧛‍♂️ ‼️Not every vampire you meet will be wearing a costume Have you ever spent time with someone and walked away feeling completely drained, anxious, irritated or even questioning yourself? What may have come across is an energy vampire 🧛‍♀️ What is an energy vampire? It’s someone whose behaviour repeatedly leaves you feeling emotionally exhausted. They’re not always easy to recognise, and often they don’t even realise the effect they’re having on others. It could be someone who: • Constantly complains or focuses on the negative. • Makes every conversation about themselves. • Thrives on drama or conflict. • Always blames others and never takes responsibility. • Uses guilt to make you feel responsible for their happiness. • Puts others down or leaves you doubting yourself. • Constantly demands your time, attention or emotional support without giving much back. Of course, everyone goes through difficult times and needs support. The difference is when the behaviour becomes a repeated pattern that leaves you feeling drained. Protect your energy? Start by recognising how certain people make you feel. Set boundaries, limit interactions when necessary and remember that you can support someone without taking on all their emotions. Crystals associated with energetic protection and emotional balance: 🖤Black Tourmaline for protection from unwanted energy 🩶Labradorite for maintaining your energetic boundaries. 🤎Smoky Quartz for grounding and releasing negativity. 💜Amethyst for emotional balance and calm. 🩶Hematite for stability and inner strength. 💙Lapis Lazuli for communication and speaking up for yourself. 🖤Black Obsidian for shielding against negativity and strengthening personal boundaries. Sometimes protecting your energy isn’t about avoiding people. It’s about recognising when you need to create a little distance. #energy vampire #crystalsforprotection #crystaljewellery by @soulspaceldn
SMOKY QUARTZ - LETTING GO How can you make space for something new when you’re still holding onto what no longer serves you? When you’re wearing your Smoky Quartz, take a moment to ask yourself: “What am I holding onto that I’m ready to release?” Sometimes it’s not what happened that continues to weigh us down, but the thoughts and emotions we carry long afterwards. Smoky Quartz is traditionally associated with grounding, emotional release and letting go. It’s a crystal to reach for when you’re: • Replaying conversations or past experiences. • Carrying other people’s worries or emotions. • Struggling to move on from something. • Feeling overwhelmed by negative thoughts. • Ready to break old patterns and move forward. Take a moment to recognise what’s weighing you down, accept what you cannot change and consciously make space for something new. Letting go doesn’t mean forgetting what happened. It simply means not allowing it to hold you back. #smokyquartz #rootchakra #crystaljewellery #treeoflife by @soulspaceldn
💫 Light your Diya for Diwali. Keep it for years to come 🪔 🪔 Why do we light a diya? A diya symbolises the triumph of good over evil, light over darkness and knowledge over ignorance. One flame can light another without losing its own glow. A simple reminder that sharing kindness, love and knowledge only spreads more light. The flame also represents our inner light. Taking a moment to watch it burn encourages us to pause, quieten the mind and reflect. Its upward movement symbolises personal growth, greater awareness and the journey towards wisdom. Our diyas are hand-carved from natural gemstones, each with its own meaning and intention. After Diwali, they can continue to have a place in your home. Keep beside your bed, on your desk or use it to hold your small crystals. Choose the crystal that resonates with you. ❤️ Red Jasper for grounding and strength 🧡 Carnelian for confidence and motivation 💛 Yellow Calcite for positivity and joy 💚 Jade for abundance and good fortune 💙 Sodalite for focus and communication 💜 Amethyst for calm and intuition 🤍 Clear Quartz for clarity and intention These are thoughtful gifts over the festive period or a little something for your own home, with a meaning that lasts long after Diwali. #diya #diwaligifts #wellbeing #crystalhealing by @soulspaceldn
A BESPOKE BRACELET FOR A SITUATIONSHIP Someone recently came to me with a brief for a bespoke crystal bracelet. She’d been in a situationship for almost a year and wanted the confidence to ask for something more serious, but was worried about what the answer might be. Putting aside any personal advice I might have, my role was to understand what she needed emotionally. Whilst the obvious response might be to focus on love, confidence and communication, once we start asking questions, we realise there may be much more going on. 1. When you think about having this conversation, what worries you most? Is it rejection, losing the person, or changing what you already have? 2. Do you generally find it difficult to express what you want, or is it specifically with this person? 3. Are you clear about what you want from the relationship, or are you still trying to work that out yourself? 4. If the answer isn’t what you’re hoping for, what do you think you’ll find hardest to deal with? 5. Do you feel you’ve been putting your own needs aside to maintain the relationship? Each answer helps me understand what someone might need support with, beyond the situation they’ve initially described. That’s why, when someone comes to me for a bespoke bracelet, I don’t immediately start choosing crystals. I start by asking questions. Two people can come to me with exactly the same brief, but their emotional needs may be completely different. #crystalhealing #situationships #wellbeing #bespokebracelets #crystaljewellery by @soulspaceldn

🖤 BLACK OBSIDIAN THIS ISN’T A QUIET CRYSTAL - BLACK OBSIDIAN IS BORN FROM FIRE 🔥 From volcanic lava that cools so quickly it becomes glass, Black Obsidian carries an energy that’s intense as its beginnings. This isn’t a soft, comforting protection. Reach for Black Tourmaline to bring you daily grounding, steady, protective energy. Black obsidian is different; it’s not just protective, it’s ACTIVE. FAST. INTENSE. REVEALING. It is often described as a spiritual mirror, it reflects what sits beneath the surface ✔️ The patterns you keep repeating. ✔️ The emotions you’ve buried. ✔️ The truths you’ve been avoiding. ✔️ The parts of yourself you’d rather not look at. Obsidian isn’t about pushing the darker sides away, it’s about bringing them to the light so we can see what’s there. It’s the crystal you choose when you’re ready to see clearly. #blackobsidian #crystals #crystalsforprotection #wellbeing by @soulspaceldn
How do you want to feel when you walk through the door? For most of us, it’s to feel calm, protected and grounded. A place where we can switch off from the outside world and feel settled. Think of Black Tourmaline as a guard for your space; the a shield against negative energy and something to ground you when your own energy feels scattered. WHERE TO PLACE YOUR BLACK TOURMALINE TREE 1. The entrance or hallway Think of it as a guard or boundary between your home and the outside world. We often come home having picked up stresses from work, traffic or just a busy day. Having Black Tourmaline by the entrance can be a reminder to leave the stress and negativity of the day at the door. 2. Your home workspace or office Keep it close during busy or stressful working days. Its grounding energy can help create a calmer, more focused workspace. Black Tourmaline is also commonly placed around technology and EMFs. 3. In your living space If you have a busy household, entertain regularly or have visitors coming and going, the space can sometimes feel hectic. Black Tourmaline can bring a sense of grounding to the room, helping it feel calmer and more balanced. There’s no right or wrong place to put your Tree of Life. It comes back to the intention you want to set for your space, and where you feel you need it most. #treeoflife #blacktourmaline #fengshui #wellbeing by @soulspaceldn

Charli Daisy 29/01/2018 - 19/06/2026 🕊️🤍🌈 This time last week, Charli Daisy was here. She’d been for a walk, eaten her breakfast, barking at the gardeners and was doing all the things she normally did. Although we knew she had heart failure, she had been doing so well that we never imagined she would be gone just a day later. Last Friday morning, we rushed her to the emergency vet when her breathing suddenly became much more difficult. Sadly, despite everyone’s efforts, she passed away. For many of you, Charli will need no introduction. Over the years she greeted you when you visited and sat under my desk as I worked and was in countless of my photos. Charli didn’t just join our family, she completed it. What started as a family of four became a family of five. She was funny, stubborn, affectionate and mischievous. She wasn’t just a dog. She was our beautiful little girl. One thing we have learned through Charli’s journey is how important it is to notice the small changes. For us, it started with an occasional cough, something that can easily be dismissed or put down to age. Something every dog owner can do at home is count their dog’s resting breaths while they are asleep. If the number is consistently above 30 breaths per minute, it is worth discussing with your vet. It’s such a simple thing to check, but it can provide valuable information. We wish we had known this sooner. If Charli’s story encourages even one person to keep a closer eye on their dog’s breathing, then that would mean a great deal to us. Thank you to everyone who has sent messages and kind words over the last few days. The love shown for Charli has been overwhelming and has brought us great comfort. We were blessed to have eight wonderful years with her. They will always feel far too short. Sleep peacefully, our beautiful girl. You will be loved forever 💞 by @soulspaceldn
