Heaven, USA out now on @dgrohio

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

DGR121 is SOUR “Heaven, USA”

The debut 10 song LP from Columbus, Ohio’s SOUR builds on the foundation laid by 2022’s “SONGZ” & their 2023 split with S.M.I.L.E., into a fully realized LP. Chunky & driving hardcore invoking the sonic spirit from bands like No Warning, Blacklisted & The Beautiful Ones. Lyrically, the LP sees vocalist Jeff Stuckel discuss faith, family, the injustices of the adoption industry & life as a Korean adoptee in Midwest America.

“Heaven, USA” is housed in a beautiful gatefold jacket, available in two color variants. Additionally, our friends at @kyfrecords have an exclusive Obi Strip variant of the LP, hand numbered and limited to 25 copies. Obi strip was designed by @fromxcounty & printed by @joeysxworld.

54 DAYS TILL UNIFIED FEST. Today the spotlight’s on Columbus, Ohio’s @soursoundtrack 🖤

Listen to Heaven, USA. No nonsense, great riffs, and stompy mosh that’ll make you grin all wrapped up in a deeply personal and heartfelt package. Sour is a perfect embodiment of everything great about Columbus Hardcore and one of my favorite bands on @dgrohio. This band is genuinely something special, and I’ve been hooked since the 2022 demo. I still think back on that crazy show at Healer almost four years ago. It’s past time we got these fellas back in the 317. Don’t miss them at Unified Fest!
