It’s that time! ⏰

The San Joaquin Region is hosting a Blanket 🧺 Drive, and we want your chapter to be part of it! This is a fun way to bring some friendly competition between chapters while giving back to our communities and helping those in need.

Chapters will collect blankets until November 30th, with all totals due to their Sectional Officer Team by 5 PM that day. Each team will then donate their collected blankets to shelters in their area.

We can’t wait to see you and your community give a helping hand to those in need! Winners and awards 🏆 will be announced once all totals are in! Prizes will be given to both the chapter and section with the most blankets donated!

South Valley FFA it is time for our section challenge!!

Throughout the year your South Valley officer team will be giving out mini ducks at our sectional events. Each time a member receives a duck they will be told as to why they are being given that duck. Your challenge is to pass on that duck to other members who are showing the qualities that our section represents. This will be happening all year long, quack as many members as you can!!

South Valley FFA it is time for you to quack back, go out there and meet new people, make new friends, and have a lot of fun!!

See you around South Valley!! by @south_valley_sectionffa

On Tuesday, August 25th, the South Valley FFA section hosted the Chapter Officer Leadership Conference at Liberty High School. Where your sectional officers hosted a variety of workshops helping us learn how we can stay rooted, as we take on the task of leading our very own chapters throughout the year.

A special thank you to @liberty_ffa_bakersfield for hosting us on their campus!

Now check out what we did!!

As your sectional team, we came together and created a variety of workshops that helped us stay rooted to our true nature. From learning to communicate with one another through obstacles to planting the seeds of our growth. It is safe to say that we remained rooted through it all.

Our members had the challenge of communicating with their teammates. However, this was no ordinary challenge as each member had a different disadvantage they had to persevere through whether being blind, unable to speak, or hear they took on the challenge of building the strongest bridge of all.

Putting our arts and crafts skills to work, members had the ability to create their very own motivational bracelets. Selecting a word that would help them through the most difficult times while sharing why that word means a lot to them. by @south_valley_sectionffa

On August 22 the South Valley Officer team attended the San Joaquin Region Sectional Officer Leadership Conference. Where we learned many lessons to bring back to our section.
Check it out!! 🌱

Throughout the day our San Joaquin regional officers and California State FFA Officers led a variety of workshops. Hiking the trail of leadership and igniting the importance of communication, the value of relying on our teammates for support, and how to work as a team through obstacles we may face as a team. By the end of the conference your sectional team came together and finished planning our South Valley Chapter Officer Leadership Conference

During the day we had the opportunity to talk with officers from all the sections. Creating new friendships and even shared words of encouragement to each other. Wishing each other a great year as we strive to ignite the path for our sections. by @south_valley_sectionffa
