It’s that time! ⏰

The San Joaquin Region is hosting a Blanket 🧺 Drive, and we want your chapter to be part of it! This is a fun way to bring some friendly competition between chapters while giving back to our communities and helping those in need.

Chapters will collect blankets until November 30th, with all totals due to their Sectional Officer Team by 5 PM that day. Each team will then donate their collected blankets to shelters in their area.

We can’t wait to see you and your community give a helping hand to those in need! Winners and awards 🏆 will be announced once all totals are in! Prizes will be given to both the chapter and section with the most blankets donated!

Be sure to come out to the fair and support our students! We have students showing horses, poultry, swine, sheep, goats, dairy cattle, and beef cattle! We also have 14 students selling ag mechanics projects and over 100 entries in Harvest Hall!

Good luck this year to all and we can’t wait to see all your hard work in action! 💛💙

On August 22nd, SJR held our Sectional Officer Leadership Conference in Bakersfield! 🌟

Throughout the conference, we connected with all six of our sections through a variety of engaging workshops 💼 and activities. Not only did the Sectional Officers participate in activities led by our Regional Officers, but they also had the opportunity to take part in workshops led by our State ✏️ Officers!

This conference was such a blast 💥 , and we had an amazing time meeting new faces, building connections, and creating unforgettable memories throughout the day! A huge thank you 🫶 to all of the advisors, staff, and State Officers who helped make this event possible. Another special thank you to the facilitators at the Kern Agriculture Pavilion for allowing us to use their facility and providing us with a great space for this conference!

BIG thank you to the @south_valley_sectionffa officers for creating an AMAZING conference for our chapter officers! Also thank you to @liberty_ffa_bakersfield for hosting us.

An additional big thank you to @wasco_agboosters for helping to get our chapter members to conferences. We appreciate you.

We enjoyed every minute, from passing amendments and attending workshops to our personal favorite, XTREME Capture the Flag!

We are so proud of our very own Chapter President, Jesus, for representing us as our Section Reporter.

Our officers are ready to bring the skills and knowledge they gained back to our chapter and put them into action for our members:)

Get ready, Wasco FFA… and STAY ROOTED! 🌱

Step by step, we’re changing what’s next! 💙🌾

Wasco FFA had the opportunity to attend the California FFA Change Makers Summit alongside members from across the state. Through leadership workshops, career exploration, and a tour of the Fresno state viticulture unit. 5 of our senior members gained valuable skills, built new friendships, and discovered what it means to lead with purpose.

Jesus Bernabe a fellow wasco ffa senior who attended said, “Change makers was a great experience as I got to meet new people and also learn about enology at the Fresno State Enology Department”. We’re proud of our members for representing our chaper so well and can’t wait to see them bring what they learned back to our chapter. 💙🧡

Our chapter had an incredible experience at the South Valley Elections! 🌟

Saray Pedroza was slated for office and had the opportunity to connect with voting delegates during the meet and greet. It was a great chance for our chapter’s delegates to engage with candidates and help select strong leaders for the upcoming year.

We are beyond proud to announce that Saray Pedroza has been elected South Valley Sectional Vice President for the 2026–2027 school year! 🎉👏

Your hard work, dedication, and leadership truly paid off—we couldn’t be more proud! 💙💛 #FFA #Leadership #SouthValleyFFA #ProudMoment

2026 CA State Conference in Ontario is officially over! This year we took 26 students to experience the 98th State Convention in Ontario CA. Students were able to attend 7 sessions including State Awards, Regional Games, and the Election of our 2026-27 State Officer team. They also attended workshops to learn growth strategies.

Speaking of State Awards, our very own Ryan Lamb was a state finalist for the Ag Services Proficiency, congratulations on that award. #californiaffa #ffa
