Happy Saturday my beautiful friends!!

Rhode Island!!! There’s a new Thai restaurant in town!!

Meet Chef @mark.spsn , whose journey through the culinary world includes working as a sous chef at a Michelin starred restaurant. But @malie.thaidining is about more than just the food. It’s about his roots, his passion for Thai cuisine, and his desire to share something meaningful with the community right here in Rhode Island.

If you’ve been looking for your next Thai food spot, this might be one to add to your list. From the story behind the kitchen to the flavors coming out of it, there’s a lot to discover at Ma Lie.

📍 Ma Lie Thai Dining | 50 S County Commons Way, South Kingstown, RI 02879

🗓️ Soft opening through October 16
🎉 Grand opening October 17

Seats are limited, so make sure to reserve ahead of time!

🎃 FREE MOVIE NIGHT AT SOUTH COUNTY COMMONS! 👻

It’s showtime! We’re teaming up with our friends at All South County Cinemas for a FREE Halloween movie night featuring the one, the only… BEETLEJUICE! 🪲💀

🗓 Wednesday, October 21st
🎬 Movie starts at 7PM sharp
🎟 Reserve your FREE tickets here ➡️ https://tinyurl.com/SCCFree1021
(Tickets are limited — and unlike Beetlejuice, saying “tickets” three times will NOT make more appear. 👀)
🚪 No tickets will be available at the door, so grab yours before they disappear into the afterlife!

Bring your boo, round up your favorite ghouls and goblins and head to the Commons for a spooky, seriously funny night at the movies. Costumes encouraged. Striped suits optional. Saying his name three times? That’s on you. 😈

🕸️ Movie Summary:
When a recently deceased couple finds their home taken over by the living, they call on a certain mischievous ghost to help scare the new residents away. Naturally, absolutely nothing goes according to plan. 😂

Tim Burton’s cult classic is creepy, chaotic and hilarious — basically everything we want from a Halloween movie night. 🍿🎃

🎬 Rated PG — parental guidance suggested for younger moviegoers due to spooky imagery, some language and classic Beetlejuice mischief. 👻

👻 Reserve your FREE tickets before they’re gone… because the ghost with the most is waiting! taken in The Village at South County Commons by @southcountycommons

Meet Chef Mark, the chef and owner behind Ma lié.

From Thailand to Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, through the kitchens of the Maldives, Japan, Thailand and Dubai, each chapter has shaped the way he cooks.

As Sous Chef at Hakkasan, Atlantis The Palm, he was second in command of the team during four consecutive years of the restaurant’s one Michelin star recognition. These photos capture a few moments from that chapter: the focus, the teamwork, and the pride behind every service.

Now, a new chapter begins in Rhode Island.

At Ma lié, Mark brings that experience back to his Thai roots, creating a contemporary expression of the flavors he calls home. Thoughtful food, warm hospitality, and a table he looks forward to welcoming you to.

Follow along as we get ready to open our doors.

ONE MORE FOR THE SUMMER!

We dodged the raindrops, crossed our fingers more Thursdays than we’d like to admit, and somehow pulled off 7 out of 8 concerts this season!🙌🏼 Tonight, ✨The Complaints✨are helping us send summer out on a high note. 🎶

Join us 6–8PM for our final FREE, family-friendly concert of the summer…and because it’s the finale, our balloon artist + face painter are joining the fun!🎈🎨

Come hungry (and thirsty 😉). Grab takeout from one of our restaurants and bring it to the lawn, enjoy concerts + cocktails at Audrey’s, stop by Tower Hill Brewing, and take advantage of several of our restaurants staying open later for the show.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who joined us week after week and made this summer such a great one. ❤️ Mother Nature may have complained a few times, but we saved the real Complaints for tonight. 😉

The concerts are ending, but our calendar isn’t… stay tuned for what’s coming next at the Commons! 👀 taken in The Village at South County Commons by @southcountycommons
