It's a West African food kind of day! What better to place with West African coffee than West African food. This meal, from a left over Sierra Leone home made okra stew (I blended with my home made pea soup to spread it out), casava, and Sierra Leone coffee.
🦋 ☕️ 🦋 Complimentary cultural flavors!

More takes from the Sierra Leone coffea stenophylla cupping, tasting today....a pull from the espresso machine (nutty, round, slightly sour - but not overly sour). Thanks again to the people that came out and partook. We will schedule another one of these...next one in Maryland! Look out for details and more video of this one. Open to the public, all pallettes welcome 🦋 ☕️ 🦋 . DC, look out for tastings as well!

Im not sure how I'm wound-up and exhausted at the same time, but it's good energy for tonight's @mastodonrocks - thank you @mdiicecreamdc - #WestAfrican #coffee topped off with #metal (how else to start a weekend?!)
