🍺 THE BENEFITS OF A COLD BEER… RESPONSIBLY, OF COURSE! 😎❄️

@bunnymanlorton

Sometimes, it’s not about drinking more — it’s about enjoying the moment! 🍻

A cold beer can be the perfect way to:
☀️ Cool down on a hot day.
🤝 Catch up with friends and share a few laughs.
🍔 Complement your favorite BBQ or game-day meal.
🧘🏽‍♂️ Slow down, enjoy the moment, and appreciate the little things.
🎉 Celebrate life’s wins, big or small!

But remember: the best part is the company, the memories, and the moments — not the alcohol. ❤️

Enjoy responsibly, know your limits, never drink and drive, and remember that not drinking is always a great choice, too! 🙌🏽

So, if you’re raising one, raise it to good vibes, great company, and responsible choices! 🍺✨

Cheers to enjoying life one moment at a time! 🍻

Sunday Morning Post Work with @mnn0824

🏀 REAL REPS. LIVE DEFENSE. GAME-READY MOVES. 💪🔥

There’s a BIG difference between practicing a move with no defense and executing it against someone who’s trying to stop you!

Training post play against LIVE defense teaches players how to read the defender, feel the contact, create space, and make the right move under pressure.

The UP & UNDER into a DROP STEP is all about footwork, patience, balance, and selling the initial move before attacking the basket. 🎯

✅ Read the defender
✅ Sell the fake
✅ Win with footwork
✅ Finish through contact
✅ Build confidence in game-like situations

We don’t just practice moves — we train players to recognize opportunities and execute when it matters most!

GAME SPEED. GAME PRESSURE. GAME-READY SKILLS. 🏀💯

🏀 MULTI-SHOT SHOOTING DRILL 🎯

Train for game situations, not just practice shots! 💪🔥

This drill combines a **dribble pull-up + catch-and-shoot** to help you become a more versatile and confident scorer.

🔹Shot 1: Start with a live dribble, attack your spot, and pull up for the jump shot.
🔹Shot 2: Grab the second ball or have a partner pass it to you. Get your feet set, catch, and shoot in rhythm.
🔹Repeat: Work both directions and from different spots on the floor.

🎯 The goal: Build consistency, improve your footwork, speed up your release, and train your body to transition quickly between different scoring situations.

Game-speed reps. Game-ready confidence. 💯

Don’t just get shots up — make every rep count!

📲 Save this drill for your next workout & tag a hooper who needs to add this to their routine!

Kobe on The Post!

🏀 GUARDS NEED A POST GAME!

One of the most underrated skills a guard can have is the ability to play with their back to the basket. 💯

Look at Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan, and Jalen Brunson. Different eras, different styles, but all examples of how a guard can use footwork, strength, balance, and touch to create advantages in the post.

🐍 Kobe Bryant: Used his footwork, fadeaways, pivots, and counters to punish smaller guards and score over bigger defenders.

🐐 Michael Jordan: Made the post game an art. He could establish position, read the defender, create separation, and turn a mismatch into a bucket.

🗽 Jalen Brunson: A modern example of how footwork, strength, body control, and elite touch allow a guard to operate in the paint, use his back to the basket, and finish against bigger defenders.

📌 Smaller guards? Take them to the post and shoot over them.

📌 Bigger defenders? Use footwork, pivots, fakes, and counters to get them off balance.

📌 Double teams? Make the defense pay by finding the open teammate.

The post game isn't just about scoring. It's about creating mismatches, controlling tempo, reading the defense, and making the game easier.

Today's guards spend so much time working on their three-point shot and ball handling, but how many are truly developing their ability to score with their back to the basket?

You don't have to be a big man to dominate the post. You need footwork, touch, balance, strength, patience, and a deep bag of counters.

Kobe. MJ. Brunson. Three reminders that a guard who can score inside AND outside is a nightmare matchup. 🎯

Don't just become a guard who can dribble and shoot. Become a guard who can score from EVERYWHERE.

💬 Question for the hoop community: Should more guards be developing a post game?

@yahkiawakened on the benefits of having your last meal by 6pm

✨ THE POWER OF EATING YOUR LAST MEAL BY 6 PM! ✨

What if one simple change to your eating routine could help you feel lighter, sleep better, and become more intentional about your health? 👀💚

Eating your last meal around 6 PM may offer some benefits, especially when it aligns with your sleep schedule and overall nutritional needs.

🌿 5 POTENTIAL BENEFITS OF FINISHING DINNER BY 6 PM

1️⃣ Better Digestion 🍽️ Giving your body a few hours to digest before bedtime may help reduce nighttime discomfort and acid reflux.

2️⃣ Improved Sleep Quality 😴 Going to bed without a very full stomach may help you feel more comfortable and support better sleep.

3️⃣ Better Blood Sugar Management 🩸 Eating earlier may support healthier blood sugar regulation because our bodies often process glucose more efficiently earlier in the day.

4️⃣ Less Late-Night Snacking 🚫🍪 Setting an evening eating routine can help you become more mindful of unnecessary snacking and make it easier to manage your overall calorie intake.

5️⃣ A More Consistent Eating Routine ⏰ Finishing dinner earlier may help establish a consistent daily eating window, which can support healthy eating habits.

💡 HERE’S THE KEY: It’s not just about WHEN you eat, but also WHAT you eat and HOW MUCH.

Aim for balanced meals with protein, healthy fats, fiber, fruits, and vegetables. 🥑🥦🍓

And remember, 6 PM isn’t a magic number! Your ideal dinner time depends on your schedule, bedtime, activity level, and individual health needs. Eating earlier isn’t automatically better for everyone, and you shouldn’t ignore genuine hunger just to stick to the clock.

✨ Small, sustainable habits can make a big difference over time!

💬 QUESTION: What time do you usually eat your last meal of the day? Are you Team 6 PM or Team 8 PM? 👇🏽

📌 SAVE this post as a reminder to be more intentional about your evening routine!

AGILITY. REACTION. CONTROL.

@annaa_marsh

Taking agility training to the next level with VertiMax resistance cords off the platform!

By adding unpredictable tennis ball tosses — left, right, and overhead — athletes must react quickly, move explosively, and catch and return the ball using one hand while working against resistance.

🎯 Benefits of this drill:
✅ Improves reaction time and hand-eye coordination
✅ Develops lateral quickness and multidirectional movement
✅ Challenges balance, stability, and body control
✅ Enhances unilateral coordination and single-arm control
✅ Builds explosive movement and deceleration skills
✅ Trains athletes to react, adjust, and execute under resistance

The goal? Move fast. React quicker. Stay controlled.

Every toss creates a new challenge, forcing the athlete to process information, adjust their body position, and execute in real time — just like the demands of competition.

Train with purpose. Perform with confidence.

Footwork, Ball Control, and Coordination!

Using a mat as an obstacle while dribbling forces you to stay under control, pick up your feet, and move with purpose. The goal is to improve footwork, coordination, and body control while learning to keep the dribble alive—even when the ball is off the ground.

It’s all about staying light on your feet, maintaining control, and being able to move freely without losing your rhythm. Small details make a big difference! 📈🏀

Train with purpose. Build better habits. Trust the process! 💯
