So it's almost fall and I know we're all busy all the time, but I really wanted to try to do something new that we saw on videos. My friend and I are hosting this soup potluck and we would love for friends and family to join us! A nice way for us to spend some time and build our community 💙 It's gonna be small since we don't entirely know what we're doing 😅 but you do need to sign up. It's been a week. A wild week. One I wasn't ready for. 1 last pill you were supposed to take 6 days ago. A bed you'll never lay in again. Coming home to a place where you'll never be there to greet me again. None of us were ready to let you go and we'll miss you so much Evie. I thought that maybe I would be able to handle it better this time but losing you hurts so bad.
We know Jet was waiting for you and we hope that you're both running around, happy together again. Thank you for everything you did for us, I'm so sorry I'll never be able to repay you. I love you so much 💙⭐ by @spaace_caake

Am I really making a long post if I'm not prefacing it by saying that it's gonna be emotional?? 🤷🏼‍♂️ No tldr you either read it or don't idc
Can I just say holy shit May was crazy! I just wanna start off with the best parts: my dad's birthday/parents anniversary, I got to celebrate star wars day, I got to dog sit some of the cutest and sweetest dogs, I planned and worked my freaking ass off to put on the coolest freaking event ever that I loved and let me meet so many amazing people, my brother turned 25, I got to watch my little bestie star in a play, I got to play DND with my friends again, saw one of my favorite star wars movies that reminds me why star wars will always be about hope and found family, got to celebrate my best friend's birthday, and wrote 43,047 words for my passion project. All of this while being surrounded by the people I love and adore more than anything on this planet.
You may or may not know but for the past 12 years May has always been a really emotional month of the year. Who knows if I would be able to tell my younger self it gets easier - probably not because that's not always true. This shit is hard and most days I barely drag myself along. Most times I only keep moving out of Spite. But it's also so gratifying to see what I've accomplished and to know that I will always have people who will be there to cheer me on and help carry the burden when it gets heavy. by @spaace_caake

*Sorry long and sappy post ahead!*
I just want to give the biggest shout out to everyone who was able to attend our first ever local book faire! My heart is so full and I am so incredibly happy. I didn't know what to expect honestly and I was so scared. To everyone who gave me a hug, words of encouragement, stopped by to say hello, or anything else that boosted me up, THANK YOU!!! Everyone we meet knows that we wanted to grow the Exchange with the help of the community and for so many of you to come out and show us what that really means is beyond incredible 😭🫶🏼💙
A huge shout out to Dan and Lindsay, Brandon and Alina with the Groveland Exchange for making this possible! And also to my mom and my dad for all the support you guys have given me with dealing with the problem solving and the extra help I needed. Thank you to all my friends who sent me messages of encouragement before and during the event and the ones that came out as well and told me not to cry while hugging me tightly 🫂💖
Thank you to all the authors and vendors for trusting us and making this event a big success. Thank you to our community and even those who traveled to come see us!
