#ThisIsUs. I created a whole human. Just wow. I remember she was born and they instantly took her from me. She was severely jaundiced and so they had to place her under lights- for days. It was so hard to wait so long and then be denied some more. And her to be denied the bonding she needed.

I remember that bath robe and what we went through to get it. We’d bought it literally the week before she came thinking she could come any day. Talk about planning in advance 🫣It was a hard thing to come by at the time. I remember scrambling for a robe, thinking this can’t be this hard to find. It’s a robe!!! People bathe every day!! Finally @target came to the rescue- and this might have been the extent of their selection. I wore it the entirety of our hospital stay. That’s the robe I held her in for the first time. I will never throw it away.

And here we are. Fast forward almost a decade. Both of us music heads. She truly gets it from her mama. She is the most amazing thing to ever happen to me. With all the challenges of parenting, these moments make it all worth it.

Happy Mothers Day to all the phenomenal mothers. We are both magicians and miracle workers at times. Not to mention chauffeurs, chefs, planners, emotional support, boo boo kissers, and teachers. We rock. And I hope you know that. by @spam_grier

It’s wild that we just stall our planes for fun. Power off stalls or approach to landing stalls. So fun 🫤
This was in my early days, still at PDK. Found this in my videos. Thought I’d share.

Let’s talk about it. #clayco #henry Where yall at? We’ve had record turnout but we can’t do it alone. And furthermore, we can’t get comfortable just because we’ve got a head start.

Early voting is until Oct 30th. Knock out your civic duty before Halloween and be done with it. And avoid all of the shenanigans. 🫶🏽💙💙 by @spam_grier

Vote NO ❌ on House Resolution 32: acreage amendment for farms

The current law already allows for for a tax exemption of 2,000 acres. Small family farms in GA are typically around 250 acres, so they already benefit from the current law. What this amendment would do is allow corporate/commercial farms to pay less taxes by increasing the percentage of their land that can be considered “conservation”. This would decrease revenue for the state (funds we could use to help folks—like small family farmers). The bill also doesn’t add any conservation protections or requirements.

My belief is that large corporate farms should PAY THEIR FAIR SHARE. The current law already allows them to exempt 2,000 acres on their taxes. Most corporate farms are between 1300 - 3000 acres in Georgia. This bill would benefit those corporate farms.

The "conservation" framing is a way to sell the amendment rather than meaningfully improving preservation. A solid conservation bill would set clear standards for things like habitat protection, soil health, and water quality rather than relying only on tax classification. It would include re taken in Atlanta, Georgia by @spam_grier

@josh__mclaurin is the ONLY choice for GA Lt Governor. Always was. I’ve not met anyone as committed and well traveled -throughout Georgia anyway- as him. And he truly gives good, genuine energy. Take my word for it. Josh is exactly what we need in office, preferably alongside the other democrats on the ticket! Hit the LIKE and the SHARE if you care about turning. Georgia BLUE and informing those around you!!! 💙
