To every girl who trusted someone and got hurt: this was never your fault. 🤍

Your body is yours. Your instincts are wisdom. And you are worth protecting.

If something has happened to you, here’s what you can do:

1. **Get safe.** #If you’re in danger right now, call 911 (or your local emergency number).

2. Call or chat with RAINN, 24/7, free and confidential:
📞 800-656-4673
💻 online.rainn.org
They’ll connect you with a trained advocate near you.

3. Get medical care, even if you’re not sure you’ll report. A hospital can treat injuries and offer emergency contraception and HIV prevention, which are time-sensitive. You can ask for a sexual assault exam, ideally within 5 days. It’s your choice whether to involve police.

4. If you can, save evidence. Try not to shower or change clothes before an exam. Keep texts and messages. It’s okay if you already did; you can still get help.

5. Tell someone you trust: a friend, a parent, a counselor. You don’t have to carry this alone.

6. On campus? Your school’s Title IX office and counseling center can help with safety, housing and classes.

Share this with a girl who needs it. Parents, talk to your daughters too.

You are not too much. You are sacred.
