Matters of note-

1. Playing with my trio at Monks tomorrow eve, ft. @mcqueenerpants and Kyle Thompson. It will be Kyle’s (and I guess my own) unofficial bday show.

2. Doing a west coast tour with @davidramirez in a few weeks and I couldn’t be more thrilled. Tickets, link in bio, etc.

Thank you for reading my post and thank you @chomp_all for the absolutely ridiculous photography. by @spamkey

At the behest of management, I’m putting up a grid post to let you know that-

A. I’m alive
B. I have an orange bass (@serek_basses)
C. I have a show at @monksjazz on 11/18. feat @mcqueenerpants and Kyle Thompson.

January 2024 I decided to take a month off from drinking alcohol and somehow it snowballed into a whole damn year, so I’m taking my victory lap by posting on the grid.

Shout out Margo Price for the well-timed tweet that kicked it all off, and shout out @seanson28 for the photo from The Paramount show with @davidramirez by @spamkey

A brief clip from a gig with @geoffclappdrums and Damian Garcia. These two are some fine funky fellas and it was a joy to play one of my favorite Monk tunes with them.
