#THISISTHEREMIX

My guy @djmars404 came through @thelisteningxperience during #CAUHomecoming and took us on a musical journey through DECADES OF CLASSIC REMIXES!

Man, listen… this is what happens when you give a seasoned DJ the freedom to PLAY WHAT THEY FEEL.

From forgotten gems to timeless remixes, DJ Mars reminded everybody that a great remix can give a classic record an entirely new life.

THIS WASN’T JUST A DJ SET. IT WAS A LESSON IN REMIX CULTURE.

Good Music. Grown Energy. Real DJ Culture.

#AboutTuesday 🎧🔥
My guy @djmars404 came through @thelisteningxperience with @djshakim, and BOTH OF THEM DELIVERED AMAZING SETS!

It’s always an honor having DJ Mars in the building. His musical knowledge, creativity, and ability to take people on a journey are exactly what this platform is about.

S/O to both of you! Can’t wait to have y’all back! 💪🏾❤️

SIDENOTE: Mars called me before the event and already had his concept together for his return.

“THIS IS THE REMIX”

DJ Mars gave the room an entire hour of NOTHING BUT REMIXES! That’s what I love about giving DJs the freedom to play what they feel. You never know what kind of musical experience they’re going to create.

GOOD MUSIC. GROWN ENERGY. REAL DJ CULTURE.

#Tuesdays #RealCommunity
Seeing the smiles, the dancing, and people enjoying themselves makes every Tuesday worth it. That’s the biggest joy I get from @thelisteningxperience.

No bottle service. No VIP attitude. Just real people coming together for good music and a good time.

Thank y'all for making this community what it is. I'm so thankful y'all help make this work.

#AboutLastNight 🎧
4 HOURS OF PURE VINYL last night at @commune_atl! #45vinyl

Man, I’m having so much fun getting back to what I love most—JUST DJING AND PLAYING THE MUSIC I LOVE.

No pressure to play what everybody expects. Just digging through records, finding those gems, and taking people on a musical journey.

Now I need to find me a spot in Atlanta where I can do this on a #FRIDAY NIGHT!

Good music, grown energy, and people who appreciate the selection.

ATLANTA, ANY SUGGESTIONS? 👀🎶

#LastNight 🎶🎧
Just finished rocking out with my guy @djrobwonder tonight at @commune_atl!

GOOD MUSIC. GOOD PEOPLE. GOOD ENERGY.

Not even the rain could keep people away from coming out to experience our 4-HOUR #AllVinyl SET!

There’s something special about playing records for people who genuinely appreciate the music. No gimmicks, no predictable playlists. Just two DJs digging into their collections and playing what they feel.

S/O to everybody who came out despite the weather and showed us love. Y’all made it worth every minute! 💪🏾❤️

REAL MUSIC LOVERS DON’T LET A LITTLE RAIN STOP THE GROOVE!

#Nightcap #Focused
So many years of breaking and making records, building platforms, and creating space for the next generation. Still a student of the music. Still committed to the DJs. Still putting in the work.

I respect what we built. I’m even more focused on where we take it next.

THE CULTURE CONTINUES.

Watching @mixmasterdavid have fun behind the turntables is exactly what we created @thelisteningxperience for.

DJs PLAYING WHAT THEY FEEL, NOT WHAT THEY’RE EXPECTED TO PLAY.

No restrictions. No predictable playlists. Just a DJ enjoying the freedom to express himself through music.

When the DJ is having fun, that energy translates to the entire room.
