Round 1 | Head-to-Head Challenge

I had the privilege of sharing my advocacy @specialja_ a mission deeply rooted in my heart and a reminder that every smile deserves care, dignity, and inclusion. As a dental surgeon, I have witnessed how barriers to oral healthcare can leave persons with disabilities underserved and unheard. Through Special JA, I am committed to changing that narrative, advocating for accessibility, and building a future where disability never determines the quality of care one receives.

Round 2 | Head-to-Head Challenge

I had the opportunity to speak about the fact that financial literacy is not a privilege; it is a necessity. Financial knowledge is more than understanding money. It is the foundation for making informed decisions, independence, and working towards a future filled with possibilities.

To aspire is to inspire, and I am grateful for every opportunity to serve with a purpose.

🗣️ SEEN. HEARD. VALUED. 🦷🇯🇲

Everyone has a story. Everyone deserves to be heard. Everyone deserves to feel seen, valued, respected, and included.

On today's episode, we had an interview with Nathaniel Bailey @kripx_don to hear his experiences, his perspective, and the realities of navigating life as a person with a disability in Jamaica.

This conversation reminded me why Special JA exists; not just to talk about people with special needs, but to listen TO them, learn FROM them, and create space FOR them!

Because inclusion begins when we stop speaking for people and start listening to their voices.

Every voice matters! Every person belongs!

On February 5, 2026, I had the honor of serving the incredible young ladies at the Lister Mair/Gilby High School for the Deaf for their Girls Day. 💕

As someone deeply passionate about the Deaf community, this experience meant more than teaching dining & etiquette and poise. It was about empowerment, visibility, and reminding these young women of exactly who they are!

Their confidence. Their resilience. Their joy. It moved me beyond words. Their disability does not depict their ability. It highlights their strength.

Statistics may focus on limitations, but I focus on potential. Society may see disability, but I see determination, and I will always advocate for that.
