I take pride in creative art because I believe there’s something powerful about making something that actually reflects who you are, without watering it down to make it easier for people to digest. I’ve never been interested in looking the part just to fit into somebody else’s idea of what an artist should be. The imperfections, the weird ideas, the unconventional choices, the parts people might not understand at first glance, that’s all part of the expression. I don’t believe creativity should need permission or a social consensus to be valid. Being raw and authentic means allowing the work to exist as it is, even when it makes people uncomfortable. That’s where the interesting shit happens. 🦇

I rarely speak on #XXXTENTACION because the internet is full of people who cosplay connections they never had. Everybody wants to be part of somebody's story after the world decides they're important.

I always saw Jah as a spirit brother in a way that's hard to explain without people making it weird. I'm INFJ, and I see similarities in how we think, create, and move through the world. I can't speak on his personality type as a fact, but I understood certain things in his music that felt familiar to me.

Musically, I viewed him as competition. He was one of the few artists I could hear experimenting in a direction that aligned with what I was already trying to create. The genre bending, the aggression, the melodies, the unpredictability. I wasn't trying to be him. I wanted to push my own sound further, and seeing somebody else operate outside the usual boundaries made me take that even more seriously.

I've also spent a long time trying to reach Ski Mask the Slump God. I genuinely think authenticity matters when you get to that level of the industry. Who you keep around you, who challenges your ideas, and who's there because they believe in what you're building versus what they can get from it. I want to connect with people who care about the culture enough to contribute something real to it.

I'm not looking for a celebrity interaction or trying to attach myself to somebody else's legacy. I make my own music, have my own vision, and know what I bring to the table. I just think certain creative connections should happen, and I've been trying to make that happen instead of sitting around talking about it.

People can interpret that however they want. I'm going to keep creating either way.

I’m putting more effort into different styles of content and expanding the world around my music. Right now, Nursery Rhymes for Witches and GLAMPYR are my main focus while I continue building my sound.

Shoutout to Producer @____teenwitch____ We locked in and started something that already feels like it’s going somewhere special. More on that soon.

I’ve also got another Dallas Voyager Magazine article coming soon. That’ll make three articles total with Dallas Voyager, so the story keeps moving.

One of the hardest parts of building as an independent artist is trying to actually connect with people. Everyone wants support, but the second it’s time to share somebody else’s work, suddenly everybody develops amnesia.

I’ve reached out, tried to build relationships, promote other artists, exchange ideas, and create real connections, but a lot of people move like collaboration is a competition. Promo gets ignored, messages get left sitting there, and genuine support somehow became a rare resource.

I’m still going to keep reaching out and finding my people. I’d rather build with a small circle that actually cares than chase a crowd that only shows up when there’s something in it for them.

I’m still learning how to connect with people and build genuine relationships through music. Sometimes it feels difficult to find artists who actually want to exchange energy, share ideas, and help each other grow, but I’m learning not to take that personally.

I’ve always respected artists who helped make the underground feel like a place where being different could actually become your advantage. @feliciathegoat and @trippieredd are two artists who influenced me heavily in that way. They helped show how much personality, experimentation, and individuality can shape a culture.
