This is my tenth monthly roundup of twenty ~memorable moments~, & the most-memorable moment of this month was a reunion with @kenzikostel. 👩🏼‍🐰‍👩🏽 (Though, she did bully me for how I peace-sign in *every* selfie. ✌🏻) Having a cousin *&* one of my best friends in the entire world rolled into one person is so fun. (Sure, the circumstances maybe weren’t the most-thrilling, as we came into town because Grandma was hospitalized due to a “cardiac event”, but the ninety-three year-old diva is fine, we love.)

So, even as the days get shorter, September had beach walks, weekly dates at @goosecup with @juliengarman (where I also dropped off some new @spencerbeckart!), a few celebratory dinners with friends, & lots to be grateful for. It’s all been a giggle. 🤭 by @spencerbeck

August is one of my favorite months—it *is* my birth month, after all—& it has been a real five-star life over these past few weeks. 🤩🍾🦪

I was endlessly spoiled by incredible food & drinks: complimentary bottle of champagne at my favorite jazz bar while the band played me happy birthday; reserve cocktails with ingredients from the 70s at my favorite steakhouse (where they wouldn’t let us leave without some birthday Dom); oysters & steaks & SO many desserts with cheeky candles to make wishes on. 🕯️Rooftops, museums, the ocean, & the people! Oh, the people, so many friends & family & loved ones—& most especially, my husband—making me feel spectacular every day. 🥲

This has been the most over-the-top, stop-to-smell-the-roses month of all. What a thrill. I think thirty-six will be a good one. 🎱 by @spencerbeck

In a shockingly uncharacteristic display, I did not post on my thirty-sixth birthday (two weeks ago, August 8) & for that, I am profoundly sorry. 🥀 But, when @juliengarman took these pictures of me looking very natural & nonchalant (she did NOT take dozens of photos, of which these three are the only decent ones….. 😮‍💨) a few nights ago on the rooftop of @hotelburgva, I knew it would be cruel of me *not* to share them. July has been delicious. A happy-hour-@-4:30pm-on-a-weekday kind of situation. An every-season-is-Leo-Season scenario. 🦁

Multiple (early) birthday celebrations, friends in town, a visit to San Diego to see Grandma, lots of oysters & champagne. 🍾🦪💦

Pride Month—one of my favorite months (alongside August & December)—was uncharacteristically slow. The slowest month of the year, so far! Lots of quiet, lots of time recharging at home. 🔮

& yet: had some fun; sold some art; made some new friends; celebrated with old friends; drank many matchas (& martinis [not at the same time]); read some books; visited some museums; cried while watching The Sheep Detectives. 🐑

The days curled up reading on the couch were just as necessary as the days of charbroiled oysters at our favorite jazz club where the handsome musicians with big nail beds drank cappuccinos between songs. It’s all special & it’s all wonderful. 🦪💦

This is my sixth monthly round-up of twenty beautiful moments, & May had…..so many of them. Boat tours, some shopping, a stained glass workshop, a visit from my dad & his girlfriend, evenings of live jazz, & a stellar holiday to New York with some of our dearest friends, to see Chess & The Lost Boys.

New restaurants, reserve martinis, museum visits, matchbooks, magnificent interiors, *lots* of walking, & @leamichele reminding us all that she’s one of the most profound talents on stage.

It’s a really extreme belief of mine, that life should be beautiful, & May proved, day after day, that it is. (Though, the last slide was taken in the least-beautiful, most-treacherous & thoroughly god-forsaken place on the planet. 😮‍💨) taken in New York City by @spencerbeck

April—like March, & February, & January, & December—was a thrilling month full of beautiful things. 🥲 A half-dozen visits to @dumbartonoaks to see the wisteria & tulips & daffodils & magnolias springing to life. 🪻 A trip to San Diego to see Grandma, including late nights of gossiping & story-telling, dinners with friends, ocean-view sunsets, & *several* bottles of champagne. 🍾 @goosecup turning five! 🪿☕️ @spencerbeckart turning six! 🎨 Fabulous art exhibits (the @baltimoremuseumofart Louis Fratino show is beyond), a bit of shopping, a few (okay, many) gin martinis, out-of-control dates with @juliengarman, & my endlessly-delicious husband @sebbiebear making every day special. 🕺🏼 Laughter! My fourth monthly photo dump! From snowfall to sunrise cherry blossoms (thanks, @igdc‼️🌸), March had it all.

What a privilege it is, to struggle to narrow a month down to twenty special moments. I love organizing life around beauty, around laughter, around friendship, & March had those in spades. ♠️ Wheezing to the point of tears while seeing @juliengarman multiple times (including a spontaneous date night with her & @sebbiebear in the city). Buying vintage jazz records. Thrilling new seasonal drinks at @goosecup. My husband getting me my first piece of Cartier “just because”. & flowers! So many flowers.

I do sometimes struggle with being envious of other people with nicer houses, people with more money, people who travel more & have Rimowa suitcases & Panthère watches.

& then, I look through these snapshots from the month & realize, I really don’t think my life could get more delicious than this. It’s a good life. 🥹 taken in Washington, D.C. by @spencerbeck

This is my third month in a row doing a photo-dump/roundup, & as I look through all the pictures I have taken during February, it’s fun to remember the: chic estate sales; historic house tours; delicious architecture; compelling artwork; delightful cocktails enjoyed in dazzling bars; many special matcha dates/lunches/happy hours/dinners with family & friends; wonderful days spent with my extraordinary husband (including celebrating both Valentine’s Day & his birthday!).

From laughter-filled phone calls with Grandma to cloudy evenings at home rewatching Smash (eternally & unapologetically Team Ivy thanks so much) to door handles shaped like leopards, February was yet another beautiful month in a beautiful life. by @spencerbeck

In my photo-dump era tbqh. January—like December—was such a good month, & such a fun start to 2026. Art, museums, rooftop sunsets, new friends, a bit of travel, so much live jazz, filet mignon + gin martini meals shared with Grandma, & *not* getting stuck in the first snow of the year…..I can’t be mad. 🍾🥂✨ by @spencerbeck

It feels uncharacteristic, if not blasphemous, if I—a Leo—call December my favorite month. & yet. 🎄🥂✨

I’ve only posted a dozen things to my feed in the past four years (which feels strange, as “documenting my life” on this platform used to mean so much to me), but I’m gonna join the hip girlies & post a December photo-dump because, the month was full of cozy mornings at home by the xmas trees (plural) & fun evenings out at chic events with live jazz music. Weekend road trips around the region & more steak frites+champagne dinners than I can remember. Celebrations with dear friends (including seeing @juliengarman four times‼️) & so, so many ornaments. Beautiful things every day, everywhere I looked &, always, my husband by my side. 🥲

What a joyful, sparkly, wonderful, matchbook-filled month that was *very* difficult to narrow down to twenty photos. by @spencerbeck
