My @marvelrivals Summer Splash Cosplay Contest entry: Femme Coastal Wall-Crawler Spider-Man 🌊

Thank you so much @nate.k.weir @jessicanigri @s_e_n_t_i_n_e_l_ with @jeff_thelandshark and @marvelrivals for hosting this contest.

I learned SO MUCH as a beginner cosplayer from making this cosplay (mostly what not to do! But we all have to make mistakes to get better right?)

How I made my cosplay in the caption on the next photo ➡️

#marvelrivals #rivalscreate #rivalssummer #spiderman #spidermancosplay

I painted the sandals by hand, adding Spider-Man's eyes with foam. His watch and bracelet accessories were made with foam (fun fact: I didn't have red foam so painted orange foam red to save money) I had red bikini bottoms that I hand drew the spider and webs. I added blue fabric that I already had on hand to the sides. For the hat, I drew on the spider webs by hand and used foam for the blue trim and eyes. I painted the whistle and drew on the eyes and web. For the jacket, I dyed it blue and hand painted and drew on the webs and spiders. I put a lot of work into this cosplay and am happy with how it turned out.

Oops, Spider-Man forgot to take his glasses off.

I painted the back of my rain jacket but later realized I should've used a fabric pen (it would've been less thick and bulky) by @spiderjenn_
