✨ Friday nights at Star Meadow with Spills 🤩 @spillsy8 🗣️ "It is a privilege to still be working with our players on the training pitch. I have the same drive and energy as I did all 17 years ago when we set SEFA up and delivered sessions on a grass school pitch. Things have certainly changed and grown since then, with the development of our own site @starmeadowsc and the company working with thousands of players every week, but the passion both myself and our coaches have for developing the young footballers of Kent to the maximum remains the same!" 🎥 @thecreativeedge_ taken in Star Meadow Sports Complex by @spillsy8

Over the years, my role at SEFA has naturally changed as the academy and the team have grown. More time goes into the bigger picture now — the ideas, the people, the brand and where we’re heading next. But getting out on the grass still gives me the same enjoyment it did when I first started. I love coaching, being around the players and seeing them grow in confidence. To now be doing that in another country, through something we’ve built over so many years, is very special. This last month in Abu Dhabi has been full on, but so enjoyable. Coaching, meetings, meeting new people, creating content and working alongside our directors and shareholders on the branding, the academy structure and the future of SEFA. I’ve always been an ideas person. I get excited by what’s possible and where we could take things. Having such a strong team here, bringing their own ideas and putting the work in to make it happen, gives me real confidence in what’s to come. I’m still ultra focused on SEFA in the UK. A big part of the vision is bringing the two countries together — connecting our players and coaches, sharing ideas, creating international tours and opening up more opportunities across both academies. I want what we’re building here to help drive SEFA forward at home too. There’s still plenty to do, but this trip has helped set the tone for the next chapter of SEFA. How we look, how we work and the experience we give our players and their families. Abu Dhabi really is a land of opportunity, and I’m excited about what we can build here together. Same passion. Bigger vision. 💙 #SEFA #UK #UAE #nextchapter by @spillsy8

📸 JOSH CAM Josh is fast approaching his first year with SEFA, and at just 19, he’s already captured so many magic moments for us. He’s built a great connection with the players, and they’re clearly making the most of having him on the touchline. Here are some of Josh’s favourite celebration shots so far. They certainly know where the camera is! 👀⚽️ Thanks for all your brilliant work, Josh. 💙 #photographer #snappy #joshcam by @spillsy8

✍️💙 FIRST PROFESSIONAL CONTRACT! A massive congratulations to SEFA Academy graduate Sulli Booth, who has signed his first professional contract with Gillingham Football Club at just 17 years old! ⚽️👏 Sulli who started with SEFA at just 6 enjoyed moving through the academy and into the prestigious Friday Advanced Centre, competing in many pro fixtures and international tours to now see Sulli becoming a professional footballer, it’s an incredibly proud moment to see Sulli take this huge step in his journey. 💙 This is exactly what the pathway is all about — developing young players and watching them progress to the professional game. Congratulations, Sulli. Everyone at SEFA is proud of you and can’t wait to see what comes next! 🙌 Once SEFA, always SEFA. 💙 #SEFA #SoccerEliteFA #SulliBooth #GillinghamFC #Gills #ProfessionalContract #AcademyGraduate #PlayerPathway #PlayerDevelopment by @spillsy8
