“Who I am now”

I wish moments could do the talking: barefoot for 90% of the time, zipping up my backpack for the next adventure, or balancing upside-down on my yoga mat.
But here’s what you might not know:
- I’m Eris—yes, like the Greek goddess of chaos. Italian by birth, though my olive skin and body shape often tell a different story. The Italy of today doesn’t resonate with me; English has become my go-to language.

🌞For the past three years, I’ve chosen to be intentionally homeless, traveling the world—backpacking even with a herniated disc. 🍃Nature is now my sanctuary, though I grew up a city girl, shaped by TV and urban stress.
🌊I’ve sailed across three oceans, surfed on five continents, and faced countless fears—like my fear of the sea.

None of this would’ve been possible without yoga.
Yoga was my turning point—a tool that transformed fear into growth and desire into action. I’ve never been naturally flexible, and I don’t just mean physically.
Over the past 10+ years, yoga has helped me create freedom in both body and mind, shifting my mindset and the way I see the world.
It’s allowed me to build a life that reflects what matters most to me: time, presence, and the beauty of simply being human.

Now, as a yoga teacher, I’m here to help others find that same connection within themselves. I teach in-person wherever the sea takes me, but thanks to the gift of the internet, I also guide personalized 1:1 journeys online.

One of my deepest dream I always had, was simply being able to stay attached to my practice, even meanwhile traveling full time and living a nomad life.

Watching back and scrolling my camera, I now realized I actually accomplished much more: I stay attached to my practice, my job, my vision, myself, building up a new sense of freedom 🌱

Evolving and adapting, bending to never break down.
Going from the physical practice to then teach to the mind how to stay fit and strong and capable, to never break down as well.

That's the simple why behind all these postures, taken around Italy, Spain, Greek, Morocco, Indonesia and even on sailing boat in the last 2 years :)

Consistency looks like nothing is happening, until everything changes ✨

Four months in Mexico. That’s it. Kind of.

Days that were simple. Places that felt close. Sun up, sun down. Waves in between. Me somewhere in the middle trying to figure things out. No signal most of the time. Some kind of energy blackout that felt very committed to its job. A full package.
At first I thought something was missing. Turns out it was just Wi-Fi.

Then it got quieter. Too quiet. The kind of quiet where your own thoughts start showing up uninvited. A bit suspicious, honestly.
And yes, even after years of yoga, I still seem to need the occasional forced date with myself. No distractions. No escape. Just me and whatever’s going on up there.
Annoyingly… it still works.

I travel alone a lot. I surf places I used to avoid. I fall. I laugh. I try again. Same story, different background.

Mexico wasn’t an escape. It was just me in test mode again.
And what a test: now I’m back… herniated disc, full camera roll. Wi-Fi still a problem.

Two cervical hernias and one lumbar disc herniation… and still here.
Not because the body is perfect, but because yoga was never about building a perfect body.
Advanced poses aren’t the goal. They’re just moments where awareness sharpens.
And awareness is what keeps you moving, through injury, through limits, through life itself.

Beyond the boundaries you thought were fixed.

Living the dream ✨

Something completely out of my imagination, first of all, as I've never been a gymnast, I still remember the struggle to learn this posture upside down. Being then able to do it on an unstable floor, it has been far behind any expectation.

But more than that, I would have never imagined to spend most of my adult life working on sailing boats around the world - here at the BVI 😎

Something started as a curiosity, later became a dream, it's simply my reality right now: arm balancing on a sailing boat at the anchor 🤟🏽

So yes, it's hard before it's easy ✨ that's the power of yoga tho taken in British Virgin Islands by @spiriteris_
