Sometimes I look back and I’m amazed at how far this journey has come. Working with @funkychukwu has been a process of belief, consistency, late nights, and trusting the sound even when it felt uncertain. Today, seeing the song take on a life of its own, thousands of people creating, sharing, and connecting with it is a reminder that alignment and patience always pay off. This is just the beginning. Life is a continuous negotiation between who we are and who we are becoming. Everyday presents two forces: chaos, which tries to break our rhythm, and intention, which tries to shape our path. We move forward when we allow intention to lead, even in small steps. The world doesn’t always reward speed or perfection what it rewards is direction. So the quality of a life isn’t measured by how smooth the journey is, but by how consistently we choose growth over comfort, and purpose over noise.

I remember that cry
the sound that changed everything.
I didn’t even know what to feel first; relief, joy, fear, gratitude… maybe all of them at once.
That was the day my boy, my Yagz, arrived.

Now look at you, standing, laughing, calling out sounds that melt my heart every single time.
Watching you grow has been like watching sunrise after a long night everyday, a new light. Every moment, a new lesson.

You’ve taught me patience.
You’ve taught me joy.
You’ve taught me that love isn’t always loud sometimes, it’s quiet… like the peace I feel just watching you sleep.
You turned my sorrows into joy, so effortlessly, my boy.

Sometimes I just look at you and smile because you made I and Ntu_Oyi 💛 partners in purpose, and believers in grace.

This first year has been more than memories it’s been a transformation. You changed how I see time, how I see life, how I see myself.

So today, we celebrate you, my little man
the laughter, the cries, the sleepless nights, the first steps, the babbles every bit of it, a blessing.
