POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

It seems a suitable time to announce my retirement, and have officially hung up my gloves.

My time as a competitive fighter has been a fantastic ride and I have made more family than I could have imagined.

Reason: I think I’ve achieved what I’d ever be able to achieve at this level without turning over, and I don’t see any potential opponents at my weight which spark any interest. That and the fact I’m 37 and not getting any younger.

Time to call it a day with a clean record and a straight nose.

I’m not going to reel off a list of thank you’s, but you all know who you are. I’m far from gone in the industry and will be looking to head down the coaching and PT route in the near future.

In the meantime, I’m always down to throw hands if people are looking for an awkward southpaw opponent to spar. 😏

Thanks to all that have supported me throughout. 🫶🏻 by @splh101

About last night. 😏 1 night, 2 fights, and walking away with a prizefighter title.

It’s been a gruelling 8 week camp, working harder than I ever have leading up to a fight, and thank god it paid off.

I’d like to firstly say a huge thank you to the team at @urban_cobras_boxing_academy for the continual support, both mentally and physically, I’ve always considered them family over a team. Having the experience of @harry_thedoc_boxing @baigey100 & @pete_g93 collectively offering their knowledge throughout has been imperative.

Thank you for the consistent rounds at @norman_warriors_bc @razorsharpeboxing and @hw1fitness - amazing athletes pushing me out my comfort zone and coaches which I have all the time in the world for 🙏🏼

Lastly, my dad @clive.hamilton.129 - without your support over these last 8 weeks, I wouldn’t be half the athlete I was last night. You’ve pushed me further in this camp than ever before, not only making sure I’m training hard, but by setting the standard in your day to day life. You’ve been a true inspiration and it’s been a pleasure having you by my side throughout it all. Thank you ❤️

To all those that came out to support me, you’re amazing, and to think you’ve dug into your pockets to come and watch is truly an honour and can’t thank each of you enough. 👊🏼

Hats off to @jackk.bate - @db____9____ & Conran who not only put on a fantastic show, but also displayed nothing but top tier sportsmanship throughout, no bad blood, nothing but respect and that speaks volumes to me. @total_health_and_fitness1 put on yet another amazing show, and I’ll be watching out for the next. 🏆

Some say he’s still lying there! Welcome to the doghouse @dpstarbuck 🥊🫶🏻

The real ones know the feeling of working beyond failure 🙏🏼

Dan has only just started, and his level of commitment, coordination, kinetic ability and strength is insane. Really pushing beyond his limits as you can see here. Truly admirable! One to watch as he grows into this game. by @splh101

Yet another fantastic display of athleticism, ability, fitness and boxing IQ last night from @clive.hamilton.129 leading to another WIN on the record and a 2nd round stoppage. An unstoppable force and a true inspiration 🙏🏼 by @splh101

Another great camp for @clive.hamilton.129 as he approaches his @total_health_and_fitness1 fight on the 10th October - the sharpest and strongest he’s looked!

I’ve been busy with life, so not been able to spend as much time as I’d want with training, but his self discipline is admirable.

Big thanks to @ringsboxingloughborough for the support and facilities. Perfect 👌🏻

Bring on the 10th - tickets still available, message either myself or @clive.hamilton.129 🥊 by @splh101
