SPOKE-mini is now available at @pimoroni! It is a small solder-yourself kit that turns the @raspberrypi Pico into a neat little 26 pin capacitive touch board.

Use it for embedding capacitive touch into projects like new midi musical instruments, interactive artworks, games controllers, accessibility devices or whatever else you can think of.

It runs @adafruit Circuitpython and its native touchio library. We have a web based ide at spokeboard.com for easy browser based coding and example templates to get you started.

SPOKE is a simple to use 27-pin touchboard for controlling your computer. Use it to make musical instruments, games controllers, cyberdeck keyboards, interactive installations or a million other things!

Attach any object or material that is conductive or can hold electrical charge and that will then become your touch input.

There are free web-based tools for playing and recording your own sounds as well as a browser based IDE that lets you code your board to do different things.

It uses the @raspberrypi RP2040 chip and @adafruit Circuitpython code and is now available through the @pimoroni web shop! by @spokeboard

SPOKE has 27 capacitive touch-inputs, each with its own neopixel LED indicator light. It is easily editable using just Notepad text editor and comes with connectors to control i2c devices for additional inputs or outputs. by @spokeboard

We're hosting Processing Community Day 2026 as part of Peckham Digital Festival of Creative Computing!

Processing Community Day celebrates the creative coding community around Processing and p5.js, the open-source tools that have helped artists, designers, students and educators learn to code for over 20 years. Join us for a day of hands-on workshops, from designing and fabricating tiles to physical interaction, low-impact computing and machines made of words, before we come together for an evening townhall on learning to teach.
