I was not okay at this moment. And then @dylan.cooley.90 had to go and make it worse and told me Tony Todd ad-libbed his lines and I was ruined once again. It was such a beautiful, genuine moment in Bloodlines.

I’m starting a new tradition this year of (in addition to candy) passing out spooky books for Halloween! If you are in Western New York and have any Halloween/horror books for babies, kids, and teens and want to donate, DM me and I will happily come pick them up!

Because a literacy crisis in the United States is truly scary… 🎃

A woman shouldn’t have to choose between speaking out and her safety. Journalist, Michael Tracey, is trying to reveal Jane Doe’s identity and share her personal information… it *would* be a man.

If you know Jane Doe’s name, no you don’t.

It was 1999 and I was 9 years old when I was riding the school bus to and from school. Everyday two older boys would touch me. This lasted for months before the principal finally did something. I still don’t know their names.

2013. I was 23 and living in a new city. A family friend I had known since I was 15 was visiting. I was uncomfortable all day and into the night and as we were looking for a cab, we stopped at an intersection. He reached his hand out to stop me and placed his hand on my breast… and left it there until I stepped out of reach. by @spookeats

We are beyond thrilled to share that @spookeats was awarded Amazing WNY Screenplay for Babysitting the Demons of Maple Street at @amazingfantasyfest!

Being the only woman nominated in either screenplay category was exciting… taking home the award was even cooler.

Congratulations to all of the nominees and winners at the fest… it is always a blast watching people create bizarre, thought-provoking, and beautiful art.

And an extra big thank you to Team Maple Street who breathed life into this story… without them, the demons on Maple Street would have just remained words on a page!

Finding people who read your script and believe in it enough to help bring it to life is truly a gift.

The encore screening of Babysitting the Demons on Maple Street was a blast and getting to see it on an even bigger screen was exhilarating!

Thank you to Greg and the team at AFF for including it in this year’s lineup (and nominating it for several awards!). Thank you to everyone who asked such great questions. And the biggest thank you to the cast and crew and everyone who helped support this short in any way… it would have just been a handful of words on a piece of paper without you.

The world premiere of Babysitting the Demons on Maple was already better than we could have imagined… add on top of that an award from @valkyriefilmfest and we are over the moon!

Thank you to @kaelin_lamberson and @tamarlamberson for thinking our little short was worthy of an award… we had so much fun making it and it’s always extra special to see people’s hard work acknowledged.

We have two more screenings of Maple Street coming up:

@amazingfantasyfest in Buffalo, NY on Saturday, September 12 at 9:15pm

@pittsburghmovingpicturefest in Pittsburgh, PA October 2-4 (exact date and time TBA)

The Lost Boys has been a favorite movie for a long time so I’ve been salivating for this show and tonight I finally got to see it! I laughed, I cried (thanks to @shobean’s Wild 🥹), cheered, and screamed. My favorite part might have been during the “twist” when half the audience gasped… apparently more people need to see this film! Fly, don’t walk to @lostboysmusical 🩸
