Repost via @sanosiproductions 🎬 Marie Madeleine poursuit son parcours international!

Duke University holds the digital collection of Radio Haiti Inter. It’s a great way to immerse yourself in life and politics in Haiti from the late 1950s to the early 2000s. Then be sure to catch this powerful documentary on Jean Dominique, an ARTivist and fiery voice against tyranny who was cowardly gunned down in 2000. At the time, he was running Radio Haiti Inter. I posted in STORIES about Jean-Claude Louissaint who was killed alongside Jean Dominique. A shy young man with a bright future who left the South of Haiti for opportunities in the big city and was murdered a short time later.

Repost via • @worldsinperspective Join us at @gablescinema for a screening of The Agronomist, a powerful documentary exploring the life and legacy of Jean Dominique, the renowned Haitian radio journalist and fearless advocate for democracy and human rights.
Directed by Jonathan Demme, the Academy Award–winning director of The Silence of the Lambs and Philadelphia, this intimate and compelling film offers profound insight into resistance, dignity, and the power of journalism in the face of political violence and oppression. @fiuphl @dudley_alexis @ipcartspace
