🇹🇼 Taiwan photo wheel part 3 :: Taichung scenes and whatnot. Often we’d meet someone and they’d ask why we came to Taiwan when we could have gone anyplace else. After we said we’d even been to Taichung, they would do a double-take and repeat the question 🤷‍♀️

Wolfgang, our favorite Aquarian ♒️ has worked in nearly every aspect of the wine world from sales to wine writing, as well as making his own wines under the En Cavale @encavalewine label. His knowledge runs deep, especially when it comes to the wines of Piedmont, and he quite literally has the tattoos to prove it 🍇

You’ll usually spot Wolfgang zipping over to the shop on his e-bike or alongside his partner Brandi another pillar of style, creativity, and grace in the community.

We love Wolfgang not just for his palate and passion, but for the energy, curiosity, and sense of connection he brings everywhere he goes. A true Gemini favorite.

A little bit more about En Cavale @encavalewine En Cavale Wine was started in 2017 by Wolfgang and Chad Westbrook Hinds as a way to re-examine classic west coast grape varieties like Sauvignon Blanc and Zinfandel through the prism of natural winemaking. That lineup now includes the Italo-Mediterranean stalwarts Vermentino and Sangiovese, as well as the occasional experimental release like their ‘Who Goes There?’ Skin Ferment & Red Blend that are currently on the shelf.
