Everyone wants to dig crystals until you gotta move 30k lbs of rock by hand, to chase a 3” wide seam, 20’ back . Had 2 major collapses yesterday, or 500-1000lbs each. This week I’ll start shoring up the roof, and make it “safer”. Haha by @squarestateminerals

Dialing in the new blast cabinet. Learning which media works best for each mineral. Baking soda seems great on Fluorite, and it does so so for the Goethite on this quartz. Getting some 220 micron glass beads to see if it will remove excess matrix, and clean up the stubborn stuff. by @squarestateminerals

Yeppers. This pocket GOES. Keep your eyes peeled over the next week. Things will start emerging from cleaning and be ready for purchase. “The Calico Pocket” #thecalicopocket #squarestateminerals #pikespeakbatholithcrystals #smokyquartzcluster by @squarestateminerals
