🦚💐🩵 W E D D I N G 🩵💐🦚

One year ago, Seth & I had the most magical, gorgeous, chaotic, wondrous, ridiculous, amazing day of our lives together. We wanted a big crazy colorful wedding, & boy howdy we got it. We created our own decor, devised many delightful ceremonial antics, & we all weathered a freak storm ~ partying together right through the rain.

It was messy, it was beautiful, it was ours. And it truly was magical. It was pretty much a perfect representation of our love, in all its wildly creative messes & wonders.

And of course this entire journey could not have happened without our beautiful family & friends who showed up so hard to celebrate our love. We have oh so many people to thank, & we will! In the meantime, here are a few of our favorite shots from our favorite day. Many more to come!

✨🩵 M A R R I E D 🩵✨

One year ago today on May 27, 2025 Seth & I signed our marriage license!! Seth asked me to be his girlfriend on May 27, 2018 ~ & seven years later we made it forever.

We went down to the Norwalk office in the morning, where Seth picked government property flowers to make a perfect little bouquet for me, which I just loved. And then he went to his house to finish making our wedding rings (!!!), which is another whole story. He really did the dang thing.

Later in the afternoon we gathered in my grandmother’s beautiful backyard in Los Feliz, where my sister Keri @kericasey got married in 2016. Ross @rosssteeves ~ our wedding officiant & one of our all-time favorite humans ~ was our “civil” officiant, & our dear darling friend Meg @kingpearlbaby was our first witness & my wonderful uncle Robert @pepperfoolofficial was our second witness. It was a cozy intimate moment, where Meg took some gorgeous film photos & read a beautiful poem to us from ‘The Prophet’ by Khalil Gibran. And then I presented to Seth my wedding gift to him ~ a “Sethwad” toilet paper holder that I commissioned my dear friend & incredible sculptor friend Nathaniel @nathanielkyung to help make. And then we took more fabulous sunlit photos, of course. It was all so beautifully sweet & wonderful.

Then Seth & I stopped by In-N-Out in our marriage finery on our way to a mini-moon at our sweet friend Robin’s @thriftstoreprophet Huntington Beach house, which was just right. It was lovely to get away in the middle of the wedding prep madness.

So many dear friends SHOWED UP! We went down to the old dog hotel and transformed the space into a fine art gallery just for my sweetheart, Lori Elizabeth Lusk. I pulled a homemade ring out of the Roman bust built for two and asked if she’d marry me. I wasn’t finished waxing poetic- she interrupted, Yes! I can’t wait to start this next adventure of our lives together, filled with friends, artmaking… and maybe a lil’ whiff of dog pee, we’ll see!
