One year ago, Seth & I had the most magical, gorgeous, chaotic, wondrous, ridiculous, amazing day of our lives together. We wanted a big crazy colorful wedding, & boy howdy we got it. We created our own decor, devised many delightful ceremonial antics, & we all weathered a freak storm ~ partying together right through the rain.

It was messy, it was beautiful, it was ours. And it truly was magical. It was pretty much a perfect representation of our love, in all its wildly creative messes & wonders.

And of course this entire journey could not have happened without our beautiful family & friends who showed up so hard to celebrate our love. We have oh so many people to thank, & we will! In the meantime, here are a few of our favorite shots from our favorite day. Many more to come!

Marrying my wife was surreal. Our dreams of this day didn’t even hold a light to how amazing it turned out. We were blessed with a beautiful day and were surrounded by so many loved ones who made us feel incredibly loved and supported. Thank you to everyone that made this our favorite chapter in our ongoing fairytale. This post is the prep and ceremony, I can’t wait to post the rest!

This was an incredibly beautiful day orchestrated by the one & only Keri, matron of honor & sister best friend extraordinaire. How she does it all I will never know..!! The florals were a DREAM, Keri & our mama made all of the bud vase arrangements, a perfect trial run for the wedding. And Meg was an amazing help, as always! And we had fun hawking our wares to fundraise for the wedding ~ Seth made lots of fun textile wall artwork “gloobs” & I had floral cyanotype postcards for sale. I think some people actually bought a few things!

It was so lovely to see everyone who came just under a month before the big day. Seth & I could not have had a more gorgeous or generous shower, truly. 🌻🌸🌻

🪻 April / May 2025 🪻

Spring 2025 was so full!!
Seth’s first ever Renaissance Faire (he made that entire jester costume while waiting for us to get ready haha), beautiful Mother’s Saturday Day tea as always (with my pregnant cousin Jenny!), picking up my wedding dress (!!!), the ridiculously fun telethons that Seth & I did to fundraise for wedding (I still have tons of post cards if anyone is interested!), I surprised Kalie & Josh back K went to Josh’s amazing show in Salt Lake & Keri helped me source gorgeous wedding things, Show & Tell turned 100 (that might have actually happened in March??), Meg being an amazing above-&-beyond bridesmaid & attending my dress alteration appointment & taking gorgeous film photos, & Seth & I drove down to Temecula to begin making big wedding plans at our venue!

God bless Keri & Ariana for helping me keep it together (baaarely). And my husband-to-be was with me every step of the way, working hard to make his plans happen! More than any groom I have ever heard of! Borderline groom-zilla, bless him! 🩵

💗✨ E N G A G E M E N T ! ✨💗

Ahhhh this engagement shoot was everything we hoped & dreamed it would be, thanks to Chris @onemanvariety who agreed to capture our engaged love on the shortest notice! What a photographer (& cinematographer!) HERO. And Lorne @transitionalmoments was such a great help too, our ridiculous & beautiful engagement video could not have happened without him. We found this perfect chair like the day before, & the Griffith lookout was exactly what we wanted. Just so good.

That first photo was our wedding invite photo. 🩵

🦚 March 2025 🦚

Last March was such a good one ~ Christina & Alex got MARRIED! Such a beautiful fun time celebrating their love. And Seth & I found our amazing peacock sanctuary wedding venue! And Meg & I had another fabulous Saint Liz salon, gosh we love this group of makers. And I went on many long hilly sanity walks & admired the gorgeous engagement ring that Seth made for me. And Nana will tell you that Easter was delicious! Such good friends & such beautiful events all around.

✨ February 2025 ✨

Moving right along with this long overdue recap of 2025!

February was BUSY. Keri turned 31-going-on-13, Kallie & Josh surprised ME for her birthday weekend in Utah, I very unexpectedly found The Dress at my very first bridal shop appointment, & Christina had a beautiful desert cowgirls bachelorette in Joshua Tree which is an ultimate happy place for me.

Seth & I had a quick newly engaged Valentine’s Day picnic, & at the end of the month he helped me make a proposal for a potential solo gallery show, which was very exciting..!

So much happening & SO much to celebrate. 💛

Wedding Post Pt 1!!

Try as I might I couldn’t be cool and fit this day into one post so here is wedding pics part 1 ☺️Getting ready with my girls and the ceremony, officiated by the amazing @al.sturgeon who went above and beyond to create a moving, powerful, funny, and just overall incredible moment for us. Eternally grateful to be surrounded in life by amazing friends and family that showed up to make this the most magical, perfect, and joyful day.
