So saddened to recently discover the news that precious rescued beaver Petunia, a true inspiration whose spirit raised so much awareness for beaver and wildlife conservation, crossed the rainbow bridge unexpectedly. Sadly, we lost my precious mom, Belynda Gale Wilson, when she passed away on Sunday, Jan 12th. Graveside services will be held this Sunday, Feb 2nd at 2 P.M. at the Madisonville Cemetary in Madisonville, Tx.

The family welcomes flowers to be sent to:
Madisonville Cemetary
609 W Trinity St.
Madisonville, Tx 77864

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Rufus Rescue pet rescue or the Madisonville Cemetary Association.

Pictures of dirt are really the best I could do (see the crescent moons though? 🌘), and I’m gonna blame me not being in a prime viewing location on that…the true spectacle was watching the neighbors venture out of their homes to experience the event—many taking pictures with their phones, many wearing goggles of questionable authenticity (a lady was selling them out of the Walmart parking lot, claiming they were “NASA certified”), a few inexplicably holding umbrellas 🤷🏻‍♀️, and a family at the end of the street passing around one of those huge foil sun-reflector things your mom used to tan in the 80’s and holding it up to the eclipse… 😂 by @squidlets
