Building trucks is fun, but building trucks for rad people is what really keeps us going. This base model 1985 pickup for future CT World Champion @zoeykaina got the engine overhaul every 22R needs. A full timing chain and cooling system over haul, ignition refresh, carb tune, full exhaust, and a smog pass to cap it off. See you out there when it’s pumping Zoey! 🏄‍♀️🤙

The bottom line is this. We want to work on more 2UZ trucks, so we went out and bought the ultimate V8 powered Toyota, a 1999 100 series Land Cruiser. Now we’re doing everything we can to make it the most reliable 💯 on the road.

Points of consideration for a 100 series LC owner:
- Suspension/Ball Joints
- Cooling System/Heater Tees
- Brake Master Accumulator pump

Low mileage is overrated. Late last week an email from @32eagles came across our desk. He wasn’t just looking to sell his T100 that had over 500k miles of seat time, endless memories, and maintenance records dating back to 2004, he wanted to find a home where it would be loved and cared for. With a deal and story too good to pass, we made the drive and brought home our very first shop rig! Even with the mileage, it’s evident this truck was well loved because it’s one of the cleaner T100s we’ve seen, period. This is how truck buying should be, surrounded by story, sentiment, and fairness. “Bud” aka The Mothership will need a bit of love before we’re driving him everyday but a project like this is so far up our alley, we can’t wait to start digging in. Thank you again Nick for choosing and trusting us to be the next care givers of your beloved truck. Let’s get this thing to 1 million!
