“Your head is fucked!” -V 😭😂. But ya we talked a bit about the options. Spark plug 4’s threads are fucked so it’s either 1. pull the head and send it to @22reraceworks or hope he has one to sell or 2. pull the engine and install a time sert into the 4th plug. I’m kind of leaning in that direction because then I could also install a new water pump, engine mounts, timing chain/metal guides (things I didn’t do when I was building the truck), as well as assess my leaky radiator. Want to thank everyone @squirrelconcepts for being awesome and super thorough. I have no idea how long that would’ve taken me to figure out. Gonna be getting some parts from them soon as well. What would you guys do? 🐢🛟🧙‍♂️

Yoooooo I made it to @squirrelconcepts ! Gonna get the yota scoped out to hopefully figure out why we’re running rich still. Hopefully it’s something simple like injectors. Also have some high frequency noises coming from the drive train. Gonna get the truck dialed in the next few months before more fun road trips

To kick off Filipino American History Month and the 1st Annual Rally Itliong, we have a special CINEMAKINA screening of “Delano Manongs - Forgotten Heroes of the United Farm Workers”. @frogtownbrewery has graciously opened their patio to host this great event. We also rented the large parking lot next door to accommodate our usual community car show.

Last month, @cgeorge715, @efedz and I drove the planned route through the back roads of the Tehachapi mountains and ended at Larry Itliong Unity Park where we met with Manong Roger and Melody of @fanhs_delano . We took a deep dive into Filipino American history and our role in the fight against decades of inequality and exploitation. We’re excited to share this celebration of the fighting spirit of the Manongs at the 1st Annual Rally Itliong on October 24th.

Doors open at 6, showtime is at 7. Come have a beer, watch the short film and learn more about the upcoming Rally. @overall_bbq will be the food vendor that evening. This is a family friendly event. All are welcome!
