Meet Siale ♥️🐋

Spotted off Cronulla, Siale the beautiful Albino Humpback. The rare white humpback whale confirmed by @happywhale_official to be the calf born off Tonga in 2024. ♥️

Last seen near Botany Bay, Sydney around 4:30 pm, this incredible albino giant continues its northward journey along the NSW coast.

If you’re lucky enough to spot Siale tomorrow, please report it to the ORRCA Whale & Dolphin Hotline on 02 9415 3333 so researchers can track its movements.

📍 Remember: watercraft must stay at least 500 m away, and normal drone rules apply, 100 m distance minimum. 💙🐋

BRYDES • LUNGE
WAIT FOR THE BUBBLES 😨 Just look at this huge brydes whale! (Pronounced ‘Broodus”). Iwas just about to pack up to go home and saw some commotion with some birds off Moon Island near Swansea to which i then went to investigate and found this beautiful whale lunge feeding on some fish non stop! Always blows me away seeing them and always exciting to have them in our waters so close to shore! 🐋

False Killer Whales ‼️

What an amazing day today has been! I was fortunate enough to spot a pod of 5 false killer whales heading south, frolicking with dolphins, hunting fish and even being joined by humpbacks at times!

THEN! Around 3:30 I found another pod of false killer whales that seemed to be a different pod based on size and markings. They were off Lennox head much further north than the other pod and were mating, hanging around in the same area and having playful humpbacks roll around with them ♥️

How good is the telephoto lens’s on the DJI Mavic 4 Pro? They’re my favourite lens’s to use to get that close perspective whilst still being respectfully distanced of at least 100m away♥️
