the most cathartic feeling is singing a song you’ve loved for years and letting it take over

over 10 years ago i taught myself Someone Like You by Adele for my high school talent show on this exact piano. it was the first time i ever sang, played, and performed all at once and it completely changed me. i remember how much i was shaking on that stage, but had never been prouder of myself just for getting all the way through it.

sitting here again now, years later, feels like closing a circle and opening a new one. same piano, same song, but this time i know exactly who i am: an artist with a voice and a vision.

here’s to every step it took to get back to these keys, and to everything that’s coming next 💜

if something sparks my curiosity i want to try it. if it scares me, even better.

every new adventure teaches me something about myself, and finds its way into my art.

join me in the soft chaos that is my journey as an artist, a mover and a feeler.
