More than 20 years ago @freddoesfood began transforming a scrubby plot of land into a beautiful garden in front of his flat in London. After a number of years, the city declared it an official garden and named it and everything! He’s continued to beautify other plots around the building. While we were visiting some of his neighbours had a little party in the garden and Fred took mom and I on a tour of all the flowers and plants in his neighbourhood including the ones he’s been lovely cultivating. It’s a testament to how one person can help create joy, magic, love, and community even in a city of 9 million people. Love you, Fred! ❤️ by @sroachlewis

We visited the Fashion & Textile Museum that’s down the road from where we are staying. Super cool to see memorial ‘pin stuck cushions’ from WWI and an incredible exhibit of sisters Susan Collier and Sarah Campbell. Sarah is still creating into her 80s!

Lots to be inspired by there. by @sroachlewis
