Well.
The weather was accurate. At 8:00 AM, the rain started and didn’t stop.
Who really felt wet during this race anyways? Avoiding puddles meant using more energy.
I love gathering people for races. But this was our biggest one yet. So thankful that @irunsaratogahalfmarathon put this together. The course is lovely. The energy was ALIVE. And @gf_run_club brought such a positive vibe. Thank you to @tbelletc for taking the reins and starting the group.
Thanks to everyone that came out and cheered us on (@pelusiii36 and @lauren_judith_ . Thank you for the continued support and photographs (instagram less Andrew)in addition to our friends from @adkrunners that were spread out throughout the course.
I think everyone brought their A-Game. We should all be so proud of ourselves. It was not easy.

What a day! Rain made it interesting. But the first @irunsaratogahalfmarathon was one for the books! Shout out to the @gf_run_club crew for making it a great day. Quick trip up to Old Forge to run the Old Forge Marathon Weekend. @rherhejt took home 1st female and I took 3rd overall. Then a quick hike up Bald Mountain to check another fire tower off! #5k #oldforgemarathonweekend #firetower taken in Old Forge by @srodman89

What a weekend! Started off the @narkrunningandstrength Run 4 The River with @carissaorourke15 with @rherhejt being the best cheerleader a guy could ask for! Finished up the day with a grill and pool party. Then off the VT to continue @abrown2109 birthday week. Grabbed some yummy donuts before driving back through beautiful Vermont and finishing the long weekend how I started it with a run. by @srodman89

Got a little crazy with this one🫣 checked off 26.2 miles. Last 6 or so where rough. Switched to a run walk interval. Stomach played a few games too. But I pushed thru! Got some yummy barbecue as a reward taken in Warren County Bike Trail by @srodman89
