H에서 소윤에게, 소윤에서 당신의 우편함으로. SSN BOOKS의 첫 번째 프로젝트 [Letters from H]는 기록자의 현재를 종이 편지에 담아 6주마다 구독자의 우편함으로 보내는 연속기록물입니다. 첫 번째 발행물은 H가 소윤에게 보내는 편지와, 소윤이 2026년 겨울 일본 니가타에서 남긴 기록으로 구성되어 있습니다. 두 글은 서로를 향하고 있지만 왕복서신은 아닙니다. 하나는 바다 위에서 쓰인 편지이고, 다른 하나는 실제 장소에서 건져 올린 현재의 기록입니다. 편지는 읽는 글이기 전에 도착한 물건입니다. This individual casts two shadows. Only one light source was observed at the time of arrival, yet two shadows appeared on either side of the owl. It’s already August, and our fourth letter has just left our hands. 벌써 8월, 4회차 편지가 방금 막 저희 손을 떠났습니다. 이번 편지에는 소윤이 경험한 한국에서의 하루, H가 던지는 질문들, 다소 덥고 묵직한 여름의 이야기들이 담겨 있습니다. 여러분이 우편함에서 이 붉은색 봉투를 발견하는 장면이 저희에게는 정말 큰 기쁨이라는 점, 꼭 알려드리고 싶어요. 벌써 네 번째 봉투인데, 이 편지들을 예쁘고 안전하게 보관할 수 있는 무언가를 가지고 올 예정입니다. 더불어 4회차부터는 편지를 받아보시는 구독자분들과 조금 더 긴밀해질 수 있는 계기도 마련되어 있습니다. 차례차례, 천천히 소개할게요. 그럼 계시는 곳에서 부디 안녕하시길 바랍니다.
