Pair of barstools! Poplar, pine, milk paint. Quite comfy and sturdy- the result of much prototyping. by @sssammmosss

🔔 Guy looking for gigs alert 🔔
I need to add a couple more dates to my tentative November UK tour… dm me if you’ve got tips- I’ll play anywhere if the people are nice and mostly listening.

Or if you want to book me at your festival or invite me to open for your cool band or play on your record or anything like that I am all ears!! Will go anywhere in the world.

Tbh I don’t have much bandwidth to do the logistical work of booking shows for myself at the moment, as carpentry work has taken an increasing amount of my time (which I am happy about), but I remain very enthusiastically open to playing!

It was really fun opening for @watchhouseband a couple times last month (as seen here in pic by @morganroseford ). by @sssammmosss

A spring collection of utensils

Some new designs, some old. A nice set I think!

L to R: big cooking spoon thing, spreader, condiment spoon, salt spoon, spatula, serving spoon, slotted spoon, small cooking spoon, coffee scoop

At the moment pieces like these are available for purchase via dm. Will eventually get them listed in my webstore. Should have a few craft markets this spring in VA. Will also have a bunch for sale at the merch table at my shows this week opening for @watchhouseband in Greensboro NC (16th) and Asheville NC (19th). by @sssammmosss

Barstool prototypes! Edit- SOLD!

Been working on designing a high stool this winter and these were some early attempts. Each is imperfect in one or a lot of ways but I think they merit existing. They are made from scrap/construction lumber. Lots of fun carved textures. They generally work very well as seats but carry a strong prototype energy…

If you need one, they’re $125/each if you pick up in Staunton, VA. Up for shipping too, but will have to charge for shipping and handling, which will be a bit laborious.

Final design coming pretty soon! by @sssammmosss

Adding to my collection of barely functional things with this precarious (and some might say precious) little bottle.

Whoa, just realized my album ‘Swimming’ has been out for a year! If you have heard it in that time I hope that it has been useful to you.
