To ensure the safety of our school community, St. Therese Academy conducts regular safety drills throughout the year. Yesterday, we held a fire drill with evacuation to the blacktop. Additional drills—including earthquake, lockdown, and fire drills with evacuation to the grass field and upper dirt lot—are scheduled for the coming months. We’re so proud of how well our students handled the drill and their commitment to keeping our community safe! 👩‍🚒 by @st_therese_sd

Today, our hometown San Diego Padres take on the Milwaukee Brewers, and they need a WIN to keep their playoff hopes alive!

To show our Padres pride, students wore Padres T-shirts and accessories to school today. It was great to see our school community decked out in brown and gold as we rally behind our hometown team.

Let’s cheer on our Padres, support them all the way, and show our team spirit as they battle for a spot in the postseason.

Go Padres! Beat the Brewers... and KEEP THE FAITH! 💛🤎⚾ by @st_therese_sd

🐾💕Grateful for the gift of our animal companions and the joy they bring to our lives. Yesterday’s Blessing of the Animals was a beautiful reminder of God’s love for all creatures. St. Francis of Assisi, pray for us and our animal friends! 🙏🌿✝️ #BlessOurPets #StFrancisOfAssisi

On Friday, St. Therese Academy was honored to host Grandparents and VIP Day, celebrating the invaluable role of family in our students’ lives. We extend our sincere gratitude to Auxiliary Bishop Felipe Pulido for presiding over a meaningful Mass. Our guests enjoyed refreshments and visited classrooms. Despite the heat, the warmth of family bonds shone through, reminding us how much wisdom and guidance grandparents bring to our students. Thank you to everyone who made this day so special—you are truly cherished members of our school family! ❤️✨ #GrandparentsDay #GenerationsOfLove #BishopPulido

The Feast of St. Thérèse of Lisieux is celebrated each year in the Roman Catholic Church on October 1. Known as “The Little Flower,” St. Thérèse (1873–1897) is remembered for her spirituality of the “Little Way,” which emphasizes trust in God, humility, and small acts of love performed with great devotion.

In honor of St. Thérèse of Lisieux, our beloved patron saint, students were invited to bring a flower to school today as we celebrated and honored her feast day. The collection of flowers has become a cherished tradition at St. Therese Academy, and we are deeply grateful to our families for helping make this meaningful experience possible each year.

This beautiful display of flowers serves as a reminder of St. Thérèse’s love for God and others, while giving our students a special opportunity to celebrate the saint whose name and spirit inspire our school community.
