Last night, we had to say goodbye again to our other daughter… and I don’t think my heart will ever understand how to carry this. 💔

She was the sweetest, most gentle soul—pure love in a way that felt so rare. The kind of love that made a house feel like a home… that made even the hardest days softer just by being there.

Ever since I lost Kaya, there was a quiet in her… like she was searching, like a piece of her was missing. And last night, I truly believe she went to find her.

Our life will never be the same without them. The silence, the absence, the spaces (and closets) they filled so effortlessly… it’s all so heavy.

But in the middle of all this pain, I hold onto one small, fragile peace—
that they’re together again. Side by side. Whole. Running free. Waiting for Seth and me to find them someday. 🐾✨

We didn’t just lose them… we lost pieces of my soul.
And we will spend the rest of my life carrying their love with us.

The most amazing bestie, mom, friend, sister, daughter, partner and all around human. You have been there to celebrate all of my joys and successes, but more importantly you’ve been there through all of my hardships where without you I don’t know how I would have gotten through. So selfless and genuine, I feel so lucky to know u and call u my best friend. You are such an inspiration and I am truly grateful to have u in my life. This is 40. words cannot express the gratitude and love I have for everyone in my life that have been there for me in this past year. Truly this birthday was The most special I’ve had. I feel so blessed to have such amazing people in my life. To all of you that have been there with me on this ride. I am so grateful for you and my life wouldn’t be the same without each and every person that has been there with me on this journey.
