What an honor it was to come back to @haystack_school for their New Works Residency. I got to spend an idyllic week back in my home away from home out on Deer Isle, Maine with 30+ artists and craftspeople. It was the most rejuvenating week to spend painting a new piece alongside the best people, eating the most amazing food (shout out to the Haystack kitchen superstars) and soaking up the glorious end of summer weather.

“Don’t Go, Yet” 2026 watercolor & gouache

This piece is a rumination on losing my friend Ted who passed away 6 months ago now. I’ve been thinking about him a lot, about how it still feels surreal he’s not here. I was inspired to explore this idea of pain and confusion and loss. The left figure is smiling, ready to leave to explore beyond the field of the composition while the right figure grounded to the earth, asking them to stay, please, while the party unfolds behind them.
This is probably the first of a larger body of work to come, we shall see.

This will be on view at the Small Mercies group exhibition for Thinkspace Gallery x Antler x Talon Gallery in Portland, OR opening June 25th, 2026

I’m honored my artwork is featured in Folkish, a compendium of contemporary artists and illustrators inspired by folk art released by @victionworkshop in 2025. Folk art has been the guiding light on my artistic journey since the beginning. A Selection of Private Commissions & Family Portraits Part 1: Two years ago, with an 7 month old baby, I opened my books for private commissions while I took a break from commercial and gallery work. It was an overwhelming response, I ended up with a spreadsheet of 13(!!) commissions. I usually took one or two a year. Luckily everyone was so very lovely and understanding of the longer timeline. Thank you to everyone for trusting me to represent their loved ones in my surrealistic wild style.

I am thrilled the tee I designed for @nike Girls fall line just dropped! Featuring a glow in the dark moon, eyeball flowers and a spiderweb sweatsuit wearing black cat just in time for Spooky Season. For all seasons. This was such a fun project to work on with @coolkidbrendan who designed that delicious dark wave typography and @sstevegreenn who brought me on to create something Halloween-ish for Girls Fall 2025.
