elekhlekha อีเหละเขละขละ (@elekhlekha)is a Thai diaspora collaborative artist practice between Lenapehoking (Brooklyn) and Bangkok, consisting of artists Kengchakaj–เก่งฉกาจ and Nitcha–ณิชชา. elekhlekha อีเหละเขละขละ—Thai for “dispersed, entropy, and chaotic,” is a strategic refusal to be categorised through a Western lens. They engage in subversive storytelling by exploring non-hegemonic archives, decoding contested memories and complex histories, and unlearning systemic biases. Their work spans creating with code, algorithms, multimedia, and technology to explore and define decolonised possibilities.

Wasawat Somno (@giang_ws) is an artist working with code, sound performance, and installation. His practice is organised around the act of mapping, holding two planes of context in tension and tracing what passes between them. A computational system and the ethical questions it quietly carries. A simulation and the physical world it stands in for. An interface and the body that encounters it.

Spatial Interference is a live performance programme exploring the relationships between sound, moving image, signal, and space. Interference becomes a point of departure: as different signals and media meet, overlap, and interfere, new forms and experiences emerge. Through projection, sound, technology, and live performance, the works extend across and engage with the surrounding space.

Stack congratulates Sahapon Chootinan, one of our members, on being selected as one of three artists receiving support from the Early Years Project #9 for his work LUCKY 39.

LUCKY 39 explores spaces beyond the designed boundaries of video game worlds. Working as a kind of “digital archaeologist,” Sahapon investigates, documents, and maps spaces generated by the logic of game systems but never intended to be accessed by players.

How is Vietnam’s contemporary media art and moving image landscape changing today?

Join Nguyễn Hoàng Giang (giang.it)—artist, curator, and founder of Vietnam Media Lab—for The Transitional Images from Vietnam, a conversation exploring the ideas behind Transitional Images, a special programme curated for Stack V_Circuits.

The talk will introduce recent developments across expanded cinema, moving image, and digital art in Vietnam, while reflecting on the country’s shifting cultural and technological landscapes through contemporary artistic practices.

As part of Stack V_Circuits, Stack has invited Vietnam Media Lab to curate Transitional Images, a special programme bringing together newly emerged and emerging works across expanded cinema, moving image, and digital art from Vietnam. The programme offers a rare opportunity to encounter contemporary artistic practices while tracing Vietnam‘s shifting cultural and technological landscapes.
