Recap of the “Cowboy 100”! Cowboy Trail -
Atkinson to Valentine
Spoiler alert-I didn’t make it😬 I feel like I can’t just post my wins. I need to post my losses too.☹️
* at mile 30 I started cramping up… severely the whole body , ran out of water.
*The first aid station was at mile 34, yay
* lots of walking after that, every time I started to jog my body would cramp, my watch died somewhere at mile 40😞
* mile 51, Scottie joined me as a pacer to help me walk faster 💪🏼
• it worked for a while, but I was dizzy and nauseous and we were lucky to walk 3 miles in an hour🐢
* at mile 67, I still had plenty of time to make the cut off time of 32 hours 🙏🏻
* I really didn’t feel like passing out in the middle of nowhere on the cowboy trail 🚑
* my daughter was a great pacer, she never told me to quit even though she could tell I was about ready to fall over, 😂but I had given her clear instructions -not to baby me and don’t tell me to quit.
* I decided it was time to stop😞
* no regrets, fresh air, amazing night sky ,kind people, and bonding with my daughter
* next time, I’ll figure out my electrolytes 👏 taken in Atkinson, Nebraska by @stacymangers

Thanks for all the birthday wishes. I thought this was a good time to share my Christmas picture with the grandkids. Six of my grandsons could not be with us. Safe to say
