Tonight’s cue to cue rehearsal for "The Addams Family Musical" was gloriously spooky and kooky. The lights are glowing, the costumes are creeping into place, the music is filling the room, and this wonderfully peculiar family is beginning to feel very much alive. Our cast and crew are giving everything they have, and the result is getting stranger, darker, funnier, and more spectacular by the minute. by @stage13org

To raise this bigger than life, or perhaps bigger than death, family from the epitaphs on the crypt, our technical team has built a world worthy of the Addams name.

Technical Director Nicholas Bius, Master Carpenter Paige Carpenter, Resident Carpenter Rex Easter, Sound Engineer Nathan Abshire, and Scenic Designer Austin Rodgers, not pictured, have created a wonderfully macabre, large scale environment that beautifully brings the strange and spectacular world of The Addams Family to life.

Their creativity, craftsmanship, talent, and countless hours of work can be seen and heard in every corner of this production, creating a world that is ready to reach out its ghoulish hands and pull every audience member straight into the Addams family home.

We are incredibly proud of this team and grateful for everything they have poured into this production. by @stage13org

Lucas Beineke made one perfectly reasonable mistake. He fell in love with Wednesday Addams.

Evan Hauser steps into the role of Lucas, the brave young man who somehow looked at the Addams family and thought, “Yes. I’d like to marry into this.” What could possibly go wrong? Quite a lot, as it turns out.

Come watch one innocent romance unleash an evening of secrets, surprises, family chaos, and some truly questionable decisions. For tickets visit: https://stage13.org/addams-family/ by @stage13org

Pugsley Addams believes quality family time should involve a little danger. Preferably a lot. Robert Lindsey and Duke Metzler are sharing the role of everyone’s favorite wonderfully unfortunate little brother, bringing twice the mischief, twice the mayhem, and an alarming enthusiasm for whatever Wednesday has planned next. Come see if either survives the experience. For tickets visit: https://stage13.org/addams-family/ by @stage13org

Gomez Addams was never meant for moderation. He loves fiercely, speaks extravagantly, schemes enthusiastically, and approaches every family crisis as though it deserves champagne, swordplay, and a standing ovation. Jonathan Fili dives headfirst into all of that glorious excess, bringing charm, danger, romance, and just the right amount of madness to Gomez. If your October plans are feeling a little too sensible, correct that immediately. Get your tickets here: https://stage13.org/addams-family/ by @stage13org

Wednesday Addams would suggest you stay home and loathe your life in delightful misery. Reese Von Storch, however, would be absolutely delighted if you joined us to watch her and the rest of this incredible cast and crew bring this half dead family to life. Come for the gloom, the chaos, the dysfunction, and the wonderfully strange, dare we say, heartwarming, world of The Addams Family. by @stage13org

October 28, we’re inviting you to dress as Wednesday Addams and compete for prizes at our performance of "The Addams Family Musical." Braids are expected. Black is preferable. Smiling is discouraged. Come prepared with your best deadpan stare, your most unsettling sense of calm, and enough contempt for cheerful behavior to make Wednesday Addams proud. Or at least mildly less disappointed.
Join us October 28 for our Wednesday Addams Look-Alike Contest and a delightfully spooky & kooky evening of fun! For tickets: https://stage13.org/addams-family/ by @stage13org

A huge thank you to dancer and choreographer Todd Belin for spending time with our Pre Professional and Studio Companies yesterday!

Todd’s energy, talent, and passion for dance are incredible, and our students thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to learn from and work with such an accomplished professional.

A graduate of UA Little Rock with a BFA in Dance Performance, Todd has trained extensively in ballet, modern, jazz, tap, hip hop, choreography, and other movement styles. His professional experience includes work with Dallas Black Dance Theatre, Arkansas Festival Ballet, Ozark Ballet Theater, Afriky LoLo, ATLA Connect, Contra Tiempo, and more. He is also the founder of Moves In Motion LLC, through which he continues to teach, choreograph, mentor, and inspire performers through movement.

We are so grateful to Todd for sharing his time, expertise, and infectious energy with our students! @thetoddbelin by @stage13org

We know you are being pulled in a few directions this October but it would positively torture us if one of those directions didn’t lead to our production of "The Addams Family Musical." So stop resisting. We think you'll like it! For tickets visit: https://stage13.org/addams-family/ by @stage13org
