Into the Vappu-weekend with the Jazz Dungeon recording, now available on YouTube! 🎷🎈

Mid-March saw our beloved studio shapeshift into a jazzy dungeon as Aaron Koskelainen Stampede took over with their drums and saxophones.

The event was streamed live, but due to popular demand we are happy to announce that you can re-witness (or witness for the first time in case you missed out) the magic of what we have coined the Jazz Dungeon series.

And since we know you’re already wondering… yes, more is to come….

ps. while we have your attention, note that radio will remain closed on 1.5 as we do on all public holidays. Listen back on the jazz dungeon or our previous shows at idaidaida.net <3 Skål!

Special thanks to

@korijazz

@dj_eero_loyttyjarvi from Smooth as Butter for bringing the groove with their vinyls.

& @nasha_helsinki collective for the technical support

New review! SuomiJazz reviewed the album and it’s wonderful to notice the idea behind this album and ultimately the band came through nicely! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ”Innostavaa musiikkia riittää yllin kyllin muuallakin albumin mittaan. Stampeden avaus lupaa Koskelaiselle omaleimaista ja muutenkin hyvää tulevaisuutta pohjoisen jazzin kentillä.” by @stampedeband

Only three days to go before Aaron Koskelainen Stampede and Smooth as Butter’s Eero Löyttyjärvi turn IDA’s studio into a jazzy dungeon this saturday, 14.3 🎶🎷

Jazz Dungeon is a live-in-radio show series hosted by @idahelsinki and @korijazz

Each session is streamed live on IDA’s online radio and released later as video.

There is space for a small live audience. The venue is a unique cellar in the middle of the city. The concerts are up close and personal.

Bring your own drinks and enjoy some of the finest music (and company) Helsinki has to offer.

Kindly note that this is a standing concert and that our space is unfortunately not wheelchair-accessible.

There’s a few tickets left, make sure to secure yours via the link in our bio. 🔗 taken in IDA Helsinki by @stampedeband
